Hundreds of Labour MPs voted against and only 15 Conservative.

This would be fair enough if you were able to make even one point without calling out 'the usual suspects'. I appreciate it's occasionally tongue in cheek, but you know you are a WUM so don't get all ladylike on us.

Ha ha! So how many "hundreds" is 139 Labour MP's voting against? Enlighten me your definition of "plural" is.

There weren't even "hundreds" of Tory MP's, so it would have been a physical impossibility for "hundreds" to vote against.

I think you are losing it.

So you get upset being addressed as one of the "usual suspects" but think it is fine calling me a "bile ridden idiot". Strange sense of values you have.

But in the interests of trying to stop you getting so upset, what is the best alternative expression for the likes of "the usual suspects" - let me know, and I'll consider using it. I've got a few alternatives of my own, but please give me an alternative that doesn't upset your fragile senses.

It's 1.39 hundreds. Did you do any maths at school or were you afraid the Math's teacher might sneak some Leninism in?

So on that basis 39 would also be "hundreds", 0.39 hundreds. ;D

36% labour voted against vs circa 11% conservative. Not that it matters and for the record at the time I believed the lies. Getting a bit off topic though. Thoughts with all those affected by events over the past 2 weeks

There was an old politics show on radio here in the 90's that featured the classically liberal New England Democrat Ted Kennedy and classically conservative western Republican Alan Simpson where they would identify a topic, give their completely opposite perspectives on it in a meaningful way, then let the listener decide for themselves. They'd identify the key elements of the argument, elucidate the facts that contributed to their views on it, and present their policy preferences as a result, and kind of poke fun at one another over it.

It worked because they both genuinely cared about each other, respected one another's opinions and because I assume they'd then go off to the bar and drink a **** ton of whiskey after taping each time. Teddy was a notorious boozer...

I truly enjoy reading the back and forth commentary by both ZZ and Moose, and also wish they'd dial down the personal interjections because it just gets in the way of seeing the perspectives. Look, we already know neither of you will change your perspectives on these topics, so be civil and engage us with your views.

I'd love to see a special forum (well moderated) where ZZTop and Moose discuss and debate the topics of the day like old boozy Ted and his pal Simpson.

Naivety and stupidity, whys that then? Just because I refuse to let all this make me live in fear or make me dislike someone because they have been indoctrinated into a religion that some people decide gives them a right to kill other people doesnt make me naive or stupid. Like I said on a planet of 7 billion people this is not a big deal. I feel pity for anyone that has been indoctrinated into any religion. Dont impose whatever model of reality you have created for yourself on me again.
