Hopefully he can weigh in with a goal or two as well. We’ve lacked those from our centre backs this past year
Will he come straight into the team or like Davis work on his fitness first ? Good signing. Left footed Strong And worked with Edwards before I believe?
Exactly the kind of defender we needed to sign. Now I expect to see us with a higher defensive line and to be far more dominant.
Yes, a pacey RWB is essential if Edwards is going to play 5 at the back. Gaspar or Kamara don't work.
Tbf, I bet he's a similar level on the ball to Craig Cathcart, and since he's actually going to play on his natural side, he's probably an upgrade in that regard. Aerial battles are a large part of the Championship, so it's good to hear that he's a monster in the air!
Not to **** on him too much as he's been very good overall for us, but I'm sure Sierralta is on negative goals for us!
No mention of it on the club site (although having said that, occasionally we do learn details about certain deals from the other side of the fence!)
Oops! I just meant to reply to Villa's post and say, "Sounds just what we need against a few Championship teams but especially L*t*n with the likes of Bradley, Adebayo & Jerome!"
Can't wait to see him played out of position. In all seriousness, I think he can play left-back as well but i'm not sure about that!? A decent signing and to be fair, I was quite happy with him coming to us back in January when we were trying to stay up.
We'll have to take measures to stop a repeat of the Foster debacle. Maybe put him under Hause arrest?
Even more excited by this now having watched a YT highlight video in which he actually tackles Raheem Stirling twice. Automatically makes him our best defender in at least 5 years.
We're probably not going to play with traditional full-backs, and we're fine in terms of wing-backs with Kamara and Sema
