Young left sided forward at Manchester City. No clue if loan or perm. Other championship clubs were looking at him in the summer. According to the Sky Sports Transfer Centre we have "made an enquiry". He has scored for their u23s in the Paint thingymabob tournament this season. Sounds promising but may not be one for an immediate impact.
A striker, capable of playing as a lone front man. He is only 19, but has been on Man City books from age of 8 so sounds like a possible good'n. I would imagine he might be good enough to lead the line in a Championship side such as ours. I expect we would be looking at a loan, but he could just be what we need to improve our goal scoring form.
Never ******* heard of him, but I expect he is technically gifted but is about as physically imposing as a drink of water. Based on nothing more than that hunch, it's a confident NO from me.
Would apparently love to emulate Troy Deeney. Ok he hasn’t said that, but he will if he signs for us.
A quick research shows he is out of contract in the summer so pretty sure it would be a perm deal. Featured for England u18 a few years ago in the same side as Bukayo Saka, Folarin Balogun, Curtis Jones, Mason Greenwood and James Garner. But now below Liam Delap (who is very highly rated and featured for City's senior side a couple of times already) in the City u23 reckoning so seems to be seeking game time. Almost joined Sheffield Wednesday in the summer when they also signed Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Tom's brother. Interesting that we're interested in bringing him in now rather than wait until the summer; I would have thought he is somewhere between our U23s and the first team, sort of like when we brought in Quina. I guess we're hoping to bed him in a little.
High level ability to beat his man with tricks and fancy footwork, something seriously missing from Watford players in the U23s and the first team. Hopefully a situation like Dele-Bashiru and Ngakia where we nab him for nothing at the end of his contract. (I don't know when his contract ends, just wishful thinking on my part). Edit: Just seen LeedsOrn's post re. his contract ending in the summer - get him in!
Just going off what this Sky reporter who broke the story said (https://twitter.com/BenRansomSky/status/1351550006004752386?s=20) but reports from last summer re Wednesday's interest also said he was out of contract this summer so seems legit. Do you think he would be good enough to come into the squad as quickly as Ngakia? Obviously has less first team exposure and his experience even at U23 level seems a little thin.
Must confess to being a little confused by the only highlights video of him I could find on YouTube. Gets better at 50 seconds in to be fair. Edit: his one senior goal here (go to 1:15) and it's about the shittest goal you could ever score!
I've no idea what he's like over 90 minutes to be honest, just that he has some ridiculous ways of beating a defender. I'd imagine you're right in saying he'd bed in with the U23s initially while training with the first team if he were to come here. Even if he has to wait a season before getting on the pitch like Dele-Bashiru, if he's on a free I don't see a down side.
Can't wait for some sort of tribunal to make us pay £4m for the next Jerome Sinclair whilst City are free to take the next Jadon Sancho the other way for a toblerone and a packet of pork scratchings.

Makes sense if it's with a view to signing him permanently for peanuts as a prospect. Otherwise, if we're looking for an immediate solution for a striker on loan from Man City then Liam Delap who I mentioned in the suggestions thread is already a better player
So yet another for the youth and u23 team when the senior squad are in dire need of a striker who can come and slot in. It's not an easy job to find such a striker but still. This remains as others have pointed out a problematic issue. The manager wants an area filled but Gino and company are not in synchrony. They are looking yet again at someone who may come good and be sold for a profit at some point instead of fixing the hole in central midfield and an experienced striker. If they want someone then Liam Delap would be better qualified to step in.
I not debating that but we also cannot be blind to picking up younger talents too. Get rid of Deeney or Gray and yes we go for a new forwards. Can you honestly see that happening? I still believe someone will panic and make an offer for Troy but unfortunately Gray is with us until his contract runs out.
The club doesn’t have the cash (because of past recruitment mistakes) to buy in a finished striker, not without offloading some more of the crap first.
Who got their finger bitten off by an otter. I vaguely seem to remember this years ago on children's TV. Or has Alzheimer's kicked in my end.
Correct. And not just one finger. I sat next to him on the Really Wild Roadshow whilst he did a piece to camera about silk worms and was completely transfixed by his missing digits.
