The Wobby are reporting that we are one of several clubs after Kamil Wilczek a Polish forward apparently?
I shouldn't judge on stats, but looks a one season wonder. 27 years old, just hit 20 goals in the last season. Nothing of note before that. Never been capped by Poland. Hmmm.
Yeah, not overly sure what to make of this one. Free transfer though so always a bonus. Wouldn't be overly surprised to see him go to Granada considering they don't really have any players who can score goals bar El-Arabi. But then again if it's a free transfer why don't they just sign him rather than doing it through us...
QPR want him, his agent throws out the names of two recently promoted teams to spark interest/raise price.
Come on VoR - You must know better than anyone, that you can't post a rumour without a youtube video so we can judge him?
I was thinking exactly the same... But I reckon Ighalo is going to kick on either further next season.
Is this forum the only thing you use on the Internet? You manage to change colours, make things bold. use emoticons but can't use YouTube? You do brighten up my day TVOR.
I know what I know about computers, but that is probably less than 5% of what they can do; and yes I know this forum pretty well, but not everything about it, I'm basically a computer numpty, who learns things parrot fashion, but I don't really understand most of the terminology and workings of the beasts.
Surely Lewandowski gets injured from time to time plus they must have a like for like on the bench. Also Poland play friendlies when other strikers are given a run out. After all we cap the likes of Lambert.
True. But I think there's a difference doing little of note in La Liga and then lighting up the Championship as opposed to doing little of note in the Polish league and then expecting him to be a hit in the Premier. I'm sure the Pozzos will judge him on merit but he doesn't feel like the right pedigree to me.
Milik from Ajax is the understudy (although recently they've been starting together cos Milik is class)
Sounds like the sort of player we'd be wetting ourselves about 3 years ago but wouldn't even get on the bench now. Yes Ighalo had a fairly poor record but we can't extrapolate that and assume that everyone who has a poor scoring record will therefore be brilliant. I think he was pretty much a one-off.
