    According to Jules Verne there are 20,000 leagues under the sea, which really puts our 4 professional domestic leagues in perspective

    America has only 32 professional football teams. England, the size of Florida, has over 100.

    Worth bringing Karel Capek from the Czech Republic. Far sighted manager who could revolutionize our thinking..... In all seriousness War With The Newts and The Absolute At Large are well worth a read. As usual as with eastern European art, literature, serious music and films it does not get the recognition it deserves in the west.
