Zielinski has rejected the move to Napoli because he wants to join Liverpool so it seems like we won't be getting Zuniga after all.
maybe a mad idea from way out of left field... we could always er I dunno simply er pay cash for him?
I think this will be a decent signing as we will need players who have had a lot of experience playing Mazarri s system along with the younger players learning their trade.
Some reports out of Colombia saying that he's coming to Watford regardless of whether Zielinski goes to Napoli or not
Wow - that is taking incompetence to new heights! Next time I make a minor f-up at work, I'll just show them that to put it in to context...
It could be England's future Juan Camilo Zuniga, where the Colombian, back from loan at Bologna, might find an old acquaintance. On him it would be the Watford club owned by the family of the Premier League well and led by former blue coach Walter Mazzarri. The deal was also confirmed by the prosecutor Riccardo Calleri, the agreement may be in the short term because, on balance, benefits everyone: the player who ended up on the edge of the blue club could revive his career after the dark years; Mazzarri, who find himself his pupil, and at Naples, which in addition to getting rid of a very expensive engagement would also see a release box to immigrants, and could groped so the decisive lunge for Fabinho. The next few hours will be critical to the achievement of an agreement. Immigrants, groping and lunging. No wonder the deal is being held up.
http://app.football-italia.net/?ref...ga-close-watford#article/footballitalia-86750 Sounds like he's on his way.
Wouldn't have thought so, Zuniga has been on the cards for a while now. Plus his best season under Mazzarri was at left wing back.
Would be happy with this. Chance for him to get his career back on track and also allows us to hopefully move Paredes on. Not sure I would want Maggio as well though.
I know Maggio is 34 now but has an impressive pedigree . Could be good for 1 season with a younger player like Lukaku as an understudy ? would defo prefer Peres of course
Zuniga coming here as part of a deal taking Zielinski to Napoli according to the Sporting Life. http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/article/165/10009512/transfer-centre-live
I think Zielinski will go to Liverpool still personally. We'll get Zuniga whatever happens, probably already agreed.
Liverpool fans will be furious. Just you wait for the complaints to flood through social media. I'm happy though. If there's one club I'm happy for us to wind up, it's Liverpool.
Napoli want this all done before they're back for pre-season on Wednesday according to Di Marzio so I'd expect an announcement tomorrow possibly.
