    Watson?

    Really?

He found a striped shirt more than Jurardo did.

Both Jurado and Abdi are artists that have had their paintbrushes taken away and been given jobs stacking shelves at Poundland. At this point I blame neither for being rubbish.

Christ. He was poor but was excellent against City. Everyone had an off day today anyway, however I would agree Jurado was particularly bad but not really going to single him out to be honest. Flores tactically was poor too.

Don't need a bloody new thread for this, stop being a moron.

Yep had it at his feet...but not for long as it found it's way to a striped shirt.

    Everyone was crap tonight.

Last season was one of the best in our history. Yet in that great season we still had some shockingly bad performances.

    They happen.

There isn't one team in the PL this season that hasn't had a shocker this campaign. Even the teams at the top.

Tonight was our turn. A horror show. Everybody bar the keeper playing below par.

    They happen.

Now let's see how we bounce back. Not the worst fixture in the world next. They were rather obliging opponents last time after we had just lost an away match 0-2 having barely had a shot in anger. déj* vu? Let's hope so.

What do you mean by shirking? Stats show he ran and covered more ground than any other Watford player tonight.

I thought we established that running around a lot didn't mean much when Guedioura did it that time?

It's a rubbish way of determining if someone played well or not but it tends to sort the shirkers out from the non-shirkers pretty well.

That he didn't want the ball. That when the ball came his way and he lost it he didn't give a flying feck. That he didn't show 'midfield presence' once, midfield spanning the full width of midfield, from the left midfield to the right midfield (I fear I'm painting myself into a (non-midfield) corner here...)

Steel you're disappointed.I'm disappointed. We are all disappointed, but I cannot believe that a professional footballer was shirking, hiding, whatever name you give it.

The reaction to this performance- emotionally, physically and probably most importantly, tactically is key.

    Come on man,chin up!

But you're isolating Jurado when the entire team were guilty of failing to find a black shirt.

Couldn't understand the bringing on Cathcart when you would have assumed we wanted more of an attack, was Britos injured as well as playing poorly? Seemed an odd move.

Both Britos and Prodl were having mares, it was trying to plug the leak in the attempt to get something from the game.

When Yoda sensed a disturbance in the Force, everybody assumed he was foreseeing the rise of Darth Vader.

No. He was actually foreseeing Abdi's performance against Southampton.

Arsenal lost 4-0 to Southampton so on their day they can beat anyone. We were poor coz they made us look poor tonite. Like Arsenal I expect us to bounce back next week.

Jurado was not great today by any stretch of the imagination but it proves he's a scapegoat when people manage to pick him out as the bad player from that dross.
