Leeds striker Jermaine Beckford has joined Scunthorpe on loan until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old has made six appearances for United so far this term but has failed to find the back of the net.

Earlier in the season, Beckford scored one goal in five appearances while on a month-loan loan at Carlisle.

    Malaka, malaka, malaka, malaka..............

The beauty of it is that he could get promoted to the fizzypop with Scunthorpe whilst watching his employers go the other way.

    Oh how good would that be:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

They'll definitely be the biggest club where they're headed!

Interesting to see he's going to Scunthorpe, they already have two exceptional strikers (Keogh and Sharpe)! Perhaps one of these lads is on the way out?

Very good point but I think if Aidy went for a striker now it would be someone who has done it in the Prem.

We have a lot of potential already : Bouazza, Priskin, Hoskins, Ashikobi. Not sure we need more potential particularly as we have just trialled the Malteser and the Czech. Stranger things have happened though - you don't think Aidy is copying Colin Malaka do you?

    Colin Malaka:confused:

Well I think you're right to be honest, i think Aidy needs to sign an experienced striker! Although with the King thing up in the air at the moment perhaps Aidy will suprise us all by off-loading a few strikers in the summer? King, Henderson and maybe Priskin?

I hope I'm wrong because if King can keep his head straight we all know what he'll do next season, Henderson is also good in the championship, and Priskin is getting better and better!

If Aidy does intend to chop and change in the summer perhaps he'll want to capture Sharpe now before he goes elsewhere? We will have £8,000,000+ from the Young sale.
