Leeds striker Jermaine Beckford has joined Scunthorpe on loan until the end of the season. The 23-year-old has made six appearances for United so far this term but has failed to find the back of the net. Very good point but I think if Aidy went for a striker now it would be someone who has done it in the Prem. We have a lot of potential already : Bouazza, Priskin, Hoskins, Ashikobi. Not sure we need more potential particularly as we have just trialled the Malteser and the Czech. Stranger things have happened though - you don't think Aidy is copying Colin Malaka do you?
Colin Malaka Well I think you're right to be honest, i think Aidy needs to sign an experienced striker! Although with the King thing up in the air at the moment perhaps Aidy will suprise us all by off-loading a few strikers in the summer? King, Henderson and maybe Priskin? I hope I'm wrong because if King can keep his head straight we all know what he'll do next season, Henderson is also good in the championship, and Priskin is getting better and better! If Aidy does intend to chop and change in the summer perhaps he'll want to capture Sharpe now before he goes elsewhere? We will have £8,000,000+ from the Young sale.
