http://www.skysports.com/football/n...or-atletico-madrid-full-back-javier-manquillo Could mean either Brice is ****ed or Amrabat is off.
Are we still after a box to boxer? Don't think we are yet finished in this transfer window Does this mean curtains for Nyom?
Capoue has turned himself into a box-to-box midfielder and we have Doucoure. I'd have thought Behrami, Watson, Capoue, Doucoure, Pereyra with Zuniga and Kenedy able to play in the middle might do it for centre midfield. Of course Manquillo might mean Kenedy isn't coming now.
WD suggested Brice could be left out the squad until Jan as he's going to be injured for a while. Could be right. Shipping out Amrabat would be madness.
Amrabat, Zuniga, Anya and even Nyom can fill in till Brice is fit and Amrabat will be hard to displace right now. Wouldn't make any sense to me at all, our foreign places are tight enough as it is.
Amrabat is not a RWB for this or next season. Let's take this fella (weakening Sunderland in the process), as a longer term solution to the fact that Nyom/Amrabat simply aren't good enough for the Mazzari system.
Amrabat might not be here after the transfer window but saying he isn't suited to the system after being pretty much our best player in the first two games makes you look like a ****.
I can understand Holebas being a LWB because he has been a LB but Amrabat on the other hand is going to go missing at times from a defensive point of view.
Fair shout actually. Wouldn't put it past the Pozzos, could be another Doucoure situation and they want to tie him up now.
Quite. All wingbacks go missing occasionally, it's inevitable they'll get caught up field now & again over 90 minutes. The system works though because there's an extra CB covering. Amrabat's been quality in this role so far, if he's not played as a WB or a FB before you'd never guess.
I bowed to your superior knowledge and vocabulary. Having described Amrabat as a far superior Forestierri, and Nyom as a fantastic defender above all else, you obviously know your Right Wing Backs.
That's the theory. But it's 4 at the back for me every time like what Mourinho and Pep are doing and just about every other successful PL team that's existed.
Is a manquillo the same as a ladyquillo? Are they in fact interchangeable? Do we really need one? Is it a league requirement ?
We seem addicted to right backs. I fully expect to read 'Pereyra place in doubt' in the next week as we try to shoehorn them all in.
