To be honest - Mahon could be just what QPR needs.

A solid defensive entity in front of the defense to point and organise.

If we get 150k for Gavin it's a good deal. I think he's worth more but I previously advocated us letting him go for free.

I think QPR will get some stability with Gavin as anchor-man and he can help organise them and to be honest that is key for a struggling team fighting relegation.

Can we ask em to bump it up to 200k and say they can have Stewart for free?

This must be a mistake.... Surely thats suppose to read "Watford have paid £150,000 to QPR to take Gavin "Ave It!" Mahon of there hands"

You lot can take the mick as much as you like but someone has to do the POINTING.

It's the thin end of the wedge, mark my words.

    Yep.

There has been a fair few storys today (Fri) saying he will sign for 150k.

So do you think he is worth 150k (Bear in mind thats what you paid for him in 2002 right??)

could be a good defensive midfielder for us but i dont really know watford players to well.

    hmm

I think he will be good for you but he just isn't a good player for us. We are looking for premier league and you are looking to stay up I would say mahon is a middle to bottom table championship player. However he has great passion and pride and will motivate your team well.

    Team

I think he is probably past his best now, but it certainly is a good deal for you taking into account the ridiculous prices quoted in the football market at them moment.

    Yer 150k sounds ok.

I dont think he will be with us the start of next season though because i think its going to be a bit of a scrap again this season but start of next season i think Flavio will step up the chase.
