It's a search engine bot to catalogue pages. I installed a bit of code which gives us this bit more info about the guests that are browsing the site.
when rentokill was merged with initial cleaning services, the rentokill name was largely expunged as in japanese rentokill translates as something along the lines of 'he who kills only for money' whereas initial had a largely neutral translation. the rentokill name is now little used outside the uk
I was just interested to see the number of genuine unrtegistered users without woring about the number of automated bots skewing the figures. We seem to have a lot of people that browse but don't join or contribute, not against that but ideally would like as many registered users as possible. Sorry, that wasn't really an interesting answer was it.
Fair enough answer just wondered how the results could be of any benefit. Think I need a lie down now my eyelids seems to have gone all heavy for some unknown reason.
Can you tell if the guests are genuine unregistered users or registered users who are just having a quick read without logging on?
Not without looking at their ips addresses manually and comparing with the log of user ip addresses. Unfortunatley I am watching paint dry tonight so will not be able to get round to it.
Not suggesting you should do it, just wondering if many of the guests who aren't bots are genuine guests.
