Nah, I'm not having that . Johnston is a piss taking buffoon . People died lonely deaths whilst his mob were having a party . Get him out . Blair should be tried for war crimes. We are on the same page on that.
I don’t see what’s supposed to happen with this? I think it’s pretty low for people to impugn Bas Javid’s character and professionalism, even impliedly, simply because he has the misfortune to be related to a Tory cabinet minister.
It’s the optics really. A current refusal to investigate the lockdown-breaking by the Met coupled with this. There’s likely nothing related about it at all but it’s that whiff of impropriety which, because of our Supreme Leader’s actions - and the staunch defence of him but allies like Javid - which brings these things into focus.
Now joined with Operation Red Meat which seeks to give Tory boneheads more of the things they enjoy, like throwing people out of work at the BBC for disagreeing with them or using the Navy to ‘deter’ channel crossings. There will also be an end to Covid restrictions, whatever the science says and a raft of misleading figures on levelling up and the NHS. Bad things will happen because Johnson is a liar.
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-60028895 Cummings saying BoJo was warned about the parties and definitely knew about them. Which is bloody obvious, but still.
Of course he was. And to be honest, I think it would be more incompetent for the PM to not be aware that a 100 person BYOB party was planned in the building he lives in, and for the PM to still not realise a party was taking place when he attended it himself. I’d prefer out of touch **** to the most clueless moron who has ever held the office. Can you imagine a situation where the PM came out, you were having non-authorised drinks in the middle of covid, and then you carried on partying? Either those in number 10 had complete confidence they were allowed to party, or they think Boris is the biggest idiot they’ve ever met in their lives.
They all have a selective amnesia for the 12 years of damage they wrought. In fact the whole Johnson Government is based on it. Who could be more a part of the problem than Johnson?
Well considering enough of them are mad enough to think he should represent them it doesn't totally surprise me. Has anyone checked the lead content of the water in Wellingborough?
Could be the proximity of Santa Pod Drag Raceway. The amount of unburnt nitromethanol must be a factor.
Wonderful. Compston, McClure and Dunbar all aboard the Big Dog express. https://twitter.com/ByDonkeys/status/1483418498944671746
I'm amazed most of his constituents have enough brain power to work out how to open their front doors, in fairness.
Shovel, and digging, and hole in the ground come to mind... https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/ukne...y-was-against-the-rules/ar-AASTF9U?li=BBoPWjQ
Must be nervous times for those advising (lol) Boris at the moment. On the one hand they want him to do the normal politician thing of denying everything, on the other they probably don't know exactly what Cummings has. Sure, most of the time there won't be a smoking gun but it's a bit like playing Russian roulette at the moment. High stakes stuff.
It is, but ultimately whatever Sue Gray concludes Johnson can simply say he doesn’t agree with her view. It’s up then to Tory MPs and how they stand up to the ire of constituents. He’s got Peter Bone’s support and any other MP who hasn’t yet mastered email or social media.
The Ghanaians have distanced themselves from ‘Operation Dead Meat’ https://twitter.com/ghanamfa/status/1483467010612903937?s=21 Even they’re trolling Boris.
This is a joke isn't it. Do you really think we were going to just send thousands of illegal immigrants to Ghana, or any other country for that matter, without negotiating a deal before hand? Totally absurd. This is just a rehash of an old story, and it will be rehashed again. Note that the official letter refers to news paper stories, and not any governmental source. Standards, where they once existed, are seriously dropping on this forum.
Are you saying it's not an official statement from the government of Ghana? And while you've jumped off the deep end, I just thought it was funny they switched 'red meat' for 'dead meat' and then compounded it by publishing it.
Although it was briefed and put out in the media. It’d be a non-story had they not talked about it in the first place. The government should have probably checked with these countries before using their names as a distraction tactic.
