Travel from Chelmsford to matches, Watford supporter since mid 80's, season ticket holder in the Rookery, 12 year old daughter also a season ticket holder and well into the 'orns, still feeling optimistic about the season ahead. glad to hear it. i think with a number of different forums, it can be a little more light-hearted sometimes, as well as the good watford and football debates!
Very true but a lot of the time on the old message board it just seemed to me to be too much aggro, especially with some of the users that used to be on there. I was quite content to sort through the garbage to read the opinions of those users I felt had something worthwhile to say. Thankfully this site is being extremely well administered and moderated and anyone that wants to take the mick is being shown swiftly to the exit. Long may this continue. Hi by the way.
lol at firefly!! Essexhorn, quite a few of the regulars on here came here for the same reason, too much rubbish and aggro on the main boards. I'm sure it will stay like this!! Or admin will get his big stick out again
too much rubbish, have a read of some of the threads on here that go off track quicker thean Tommy leaving after a agme to get to the pub.
I didn't say that the fishal boards threads went off track I said that some of them were rubbish. There is a difference. I think you will also find that when threads do 'go off track' these threads are pretty much all in the steam room or other non football forums, therefore if you are only interested in the football stuff, stay in the football forums, or don’t read them. To be honest a few threads going off track is no where near as bad in comparison to the insults, name calling and generally other derogatory threads that were on the fishal site.
Where did i say you did say they went off track? I passed a comment based on mine and others opinions. i think everyone can decide for themselves what to read and what not to, as opposed to you telling us, thanks.
Faith stated there was too much rubbish on the old boards, i don't think anyone would disagree with that. i then replied about looking on here. Some of the threads that go off track on here are turned to rubbish by the same old carp.
What insulting people? calling them *****? insulting any one who dares to wear colours, that is what I meant by rubbish. I don't think there is any of that on here.
You said rubbish and aggro. So is insulting people rubbish or aggro? One would assume the later. Yet now in your last post insulting people, mane calling etc is rubbish, so what was the aggro then?
