Hate This Season Already.

Anyone else having difficulty looking forward to the upcoming season.
Normally even back in the 90’s I’d get some sort of excitement from pre season kit unveiled, transfer gossip etc.
This time I really am not looking forward to anything, I’ve lost most interest in this **** show of a club and with the hype of those scummers up the road really is ******* me off.

Gino’s potential first ever public appearance today is seismic really. Could shake that malaise for a lot of fans or reaffirm depending on what comes out of that.

 

It will be anodyne at best.

No, usually a month or so off usually does the trick to get me in the mood for the upcoming season, admittedly I stopped watching altogether for the last couple months as it was awful so I've had a nice long break from it all.

 

Is this Anodyne any good ? Has he signed yet ? Heat maps and youtube vid ?

 

I really wish there was some way I could get out of renewing my season ticket. But there isn't. I'm on WFC Death Row

Nope. I always look forward to the start of the season regardless of expectations and this coming season is no different. Having said that, the buzz around the club so far this off season has been rather muted. Limited transfer gossip and an even more limited transfer budget, a managerial appointment that many find underwhelming, nothing about the new kit and even the club seem more hyped about the womens team than the mens.

Im hopeful that the football will be more entertaining and with the likes of Davies, Pedro and co gone the attitude shown on the pitch should be greatly improved.

 

I would be surprised if anyone's opinions will be changed by whatever gets said tonight in all fairness.

 

The end is in sight. It will be swift, but not without considerable pain.

 

Fans will be disappointed at the lack of detail he will feel comfortable giving. He won't say he wishes he hadn't signed Sarr for example. Won't agree that Bayat is a risk. Won't give indications of transfer budget this summer. I think most fans expectation levels are set too high. He won't say anything negative that will affect our chances of attracting/retaining players etc.

 

Do think that things could get rather toxic very quickly if don't get off to a good start.....any goodwill in the bank for Pozzo long since disappeared

 

All I can muster is Meh!

 

He flopped at Brighton - albeit that was in the PL.

 

I couldn't care less.

 

Personally I am looking forward to seeing what our squad will look like at the end of August, then I will decide how excited I will be about the season after about 12 games.

 

Looks like a higher grade Hoddesdon Tennis Club, albeit without the dome, still up in mid June!

Honestly, is this circus ever going to end? Gino / Bayat can't help themselves can they, whatever is said tonight will be hot air and stock answers - they don't care about Watford FC, only their own personal gains by shifting these Z-list footballers around their network to syphon money out the club.
