No Sources, no meaningful info and all speculation. Waste of space article.

 

Personally I am not unhappy with Gomez, but I would like us to bring in a keeper that can challenge him for the No1 slot, and possibly take over from him, if not now, then maybe in a season or two.

That way the club could have the best of both worlds, Gomez having to stay on top of his game rather than perhaps relax a little knowing he is virtually safe in his position of No1 at WFC.

 

I'm not keen on a move away. I love Watford and am happy to fight for my place.

They managed to spell his name right in the Mexico 86 sticker album, back when he had hair and a different nationality....

 

Bigges thing about progressing from Gomes is playing it out from the back. It's part of the next step up, or at least should be imo

 

No hope if we continue with Prodl (as good as I think he is as an out and out defender) and to a greater extent Britos at the back.

Yesterday you could see we were trying to pass and move but every time Britos got the ball it resulted in it being aimlessly hoofed forward.
