    Large deep casserole dish

    2 table spoons plain flour
    1 table spoon caster sugar
    1/2 table spoon butter

Mix together to make a dough, add 2 shots of brandy, mix well and line the bottom of the dish. Captures any juice.

add 2 chopped cooking apples, cover in brown sugar

Add a layer of crumble mix about 1" deep - double the quanntity of flour to sugar and butter

add another layer of apples and top with another good layer of crumble, top with brown sugar

TOP TIP - Chop the apples first, fry them very slightly to keep the juice in so everything doen't go to soggy. Use your hands to mix the crumble, the smaller the flakes the better.

Cook at 180 degrees for 45 minutes
