Yeah, we are doing good, and hopefully, once we certify that we stay in Primera Division we will start an interesting market season: - Riera may come - Siqueira will be sold to Benfica (Or Real Madrid, who knows) 7M€ so we will have money. - Dani Benitez, Pereira… Will leave. Maybe Buonanotte if we have an offer. Maybe El Arabi if we have a GREAT offer (he scored 12 goals by now) Its being a nice season, We thank that we just need 5-6 more points to be safe. By the way: Atletico de Madrid 1 - 0 Granada CF, one penalty that the referee didn't see (Or didn't want to see) and now thinking in the match against Levante at home this monday.
Dani Benitez: Cocaine positive… I don't think so… I don't think Arabi leaves Granada to another team of the trinity.
Is Isaac Success at Granada? I am friends with him on facebook and he has uploaded photos of someone playing for Granada (possibly reserves) and I'm guessing it is him? He is pretty highly rated
Yes, Isaac is at Granada B, goal in his debut. People likes the new Granada B players (all of them so young): Success, Suley & Clifford. (We look like a Africa Cup team if we mix Granada & Granada B ) Dani Benitez has been fired (still not officially but as soon as Granada CF has the official test it will) due to his positive in Cocaine. The same day that the news was known Granada CF makes him stop training with the team.
Granada CF 0 - 2 Levante Strange moment when, 0-0, referee designates penalty and then, no one knows why, say its not a penalty.
Terrible result and they are now 4 points above relegation and have played 1 more game than most of the teams below them. Currently on a 3 game losing streak and they have 6 games left
Double reason to cheer for Granada then. It would be so nice to see Atletico Madrid winning the Liga, instead of one of the usual two!
Winning 1-0 after 15 minutes, Brahimi scoring! Might be a bit too early in the game now - invites Barca attacks.
What a brilliant result! Well done Granada! You've bought Athletico some breathing room tonight, should they win they will no doubt be very grateful to you.
Granada hang on against Messi and co, and we concede late from Martyn Woolford. The gulf between us and them is unimaginable. Congrats lads.
From Woolford's Wiki page: Woolford was placed on standby for the England C team for their International Challenge Trophy match against Wales in February 2008.[46] He was called into the squad in May for two games in the Caribbean after an injury to Dean Moxey.[47] His debut came in a 1–1 with Grenada on 31 May and was described as a "constant threat down the left",[48] and made his second appearance as a 67th minute substitute against Barbados on 2 June.[49] So he might not have scored against Grenada, but he was "a constant threat down the left."
Important draw against Real Sociedad, 1-1 in the minute 93… Wow! Ighalo! Other news: Granada CF fans have another forum, last one disappeared, if you want to visit and talk there it is: forogcf.esy.es
Granada currently losing to Almeira who were in the relegation zone. A loss would mean they are 1 point above relegation with a game in hand, as it stands
It's all very close. Granada are currently losing 1-0 at home and Valladolid are winning 3-2 at Real Betis. It puts Granada only one place above relegation, with only one game to go. What's even stranger, is that Osasuna are the club below them and Acuna has scored for them today. If he scores again, Osasuna could leap frog Granada, putting them into the relegation zone. In fact, Getafe have just scored and are winning 1-0. Granada are now in the relegation zone on the live league table.
Correct.....also, even if they draw, mathematically Osasuna could relegate them if they win by 6 goals. Unlikely, but possible. A draw in all probability will be enough though.
If we loose we relegate If we draw, Osasuna wins, Almeria loose and Getafe loose we relegate [so hard to happen] Any other combination, we stay.
Best of luck to you tonight. Thought you had a squad that would get you much further up the table this season. Fingers crossed
Is it on Sky? I think goals have been the biggest problem for Granada this year. El Arabi is not a lethal striker that can be relied upon to rescue you in a match, and that'll need to be addressed. 31 goals in 37 games is always going to put you in trouble. I'd like to see Acuna to Granada happen this summer, makes perfect sense. Lucas Alcaraz' days are probably numbered either way.
Should be a great game. On Sky Sports 4 at 4:55 pm. I'll be watching. I think Valladolid are slightly in the better form. They recently drew against Real Madrid & beat Barcelona (but then, so did Granada) not too long ago so Valladolid will certainly be a tough proposition. Like someone pointed out, Valladolid lost to Betis - who are awful - in the last game. Prediction? Either a 1-1 draw or a 2-1 Granada win.
