I'm still reeling from the shock.

George Michael is a fan, Tony Blackburn is not, while Morrissey is just a big fan of himself.

    Bizarrely I watched this yesterday.

I'm a huge JD fan and I like The Smiths, but Morrissey's solo work is generally poor apart from the early stuff. I always found him a mix of funny and deliberately contrary / a cringable self important tw*t in interviews.

Can't say I'm a fan of George but this sort of thing gives a bit more credit to his later work. It was hard to take him seriously with the likes of Club Tropicana on his back catalogue.

Big JD/New Order/Peter Hook fan too. Brother bought me Still for Xmas 1981 and I was Hooked, if you excuse the pun. Had a chance of going to see Peter Hook and the Light about 18 months ago, but alas it was on a Sunday, and trying to get anywhere round here on that day of the week, but particularly to London and back on the same day is nigh on impossible.

Always liked Mark E Smith's approach to meeting Morrissey in person, who had bombarded him with sycophantic letters in previous years. He always shouted towards him on first sighting HELLO STEPHEN!!!, causing the intended receivver acute embarrassment.

Saw Peter at Pennfest a couple of years ago. He was not on the main stage but was the highlight of the day for me.
