I haven't evened managed 1 on any Season :dismay:

 

Have to say, I'm currently in 2019/2020 and it's got to the point where I've got a team assembled through one or two large acquisitions, and on a free, that just storm the league and is probably the best team on the game.

Every season for whatever reason young players (16-21) get released even though they're highly rated, I pick em up on a free, play them and eventually the become unreal.

Got a 93 CB, 91 LW, 90 CB, 88 CB, 87 CDM, 88 CM, 86 CM currently in my squad this way, plus a **** load of others I've sold at maximum value for £25M+. Help's that even at rated 85+ they're happy to be on about 4k a week too. Most of them that is.

 

I tend not to build squads and prefer to start of as the worst rated league 2 team at the time, stick it on the hardest difficulty and play it as a manager's career, taking an offer at a better team if one comes along. Bit more of a challenge that way.

Just started a new game. Currently Macclesfield, with 2 games left of the season and safely in third place on 80 points with both Bradford and Rotherham ahead of me on 84 points each.

Kept getting offered the Sunderland job in my last game. Had to turn the machine off in disgust.

 

The Last Of Us has arrived! eeeeeee, just need to do some bits and bobs then I'm on!

 

Completed it, loved it!!!

 

I saw someone stream a complete run through and wow it's brilliant.

 

WWE 2K14 looks like an absolute joke. Same woeful graphics, same awful models, same animations, same engine, same sh*t. Really is sad how unambitious some developers are.

 

new free game on xbox live arcade: spartacus legends.

pretty good fun so far. hack and slash fighting game, free to play model.

 

Bought F1 2012 a few days ago on Steam. Sunk about 6h+ on it so far.


Best part was I got it for 8.99 rather than 25 as it was on a flash sale.

Also play GMOD - Got about 400 hours on it.

GMod is good, don't have it myself but see plenty of it on game commentaries and things. Trouble in terrorist town, death run, the hidden, things like that are all good on it.

 

What are feeling about The Last of Us? Probably a quarter through and so far it is brilliant. Beats Bioshock Infinite hands down.

 

This is the last day to download Fable 3 for free if you've got XBL Gold. Only just remembered the offer was on, downloading it now

 

So far I disagree. I've played just over 5 hours and it's a very good game, but starting to feel like it was maybe a little over hyped. BioShock Infinite was a gaming masterpiece.

Seen that, obviously knew somewhat about it, but everything listed just looks incredible.

On a sidenote, anyone had any issues with their PS3's HDMI not producing any sound before? I had it once about a year ago and it fixed itself, somehow. But a few days ago it has resurfaced, and only with the PS3 too. And before I forget, I've switched HDMI cables so it's not just that one, tried different sockets, it is plugged in fully, and I've tried rebooting the PS3 in different modes i.e. Safe mode etc.

Anyone played any arma 3 the alpha or beta? Looks pretty good if they can iron out the bugs.

 

I play ARMA 3, par from some missing reload sounds for a few of the guns and a part placeholder on physics for cars and flight vehicles it's really solid and great gameplay.

Got most tier 2 tanks at this point. I enjoy playing a few rounds a day, and have got 76% on T-60 crew with an eye to getting my 100% crew with them.

 

When is it out? The above video is the first I've seen of GTA5 and looks great, The Last of Us didn't Last (haha) as long as I expected it to so I may need something else other than FIFA 14!

 

WarThunder or WorldofTanks are good F2P for PC.

For console...Dunno.

I'm mostly at Tier 6. Once you get to tier 3 or 4, it's worth the credits to upgrade your crews to 75%.

You also don't always need to get all the equipment on a tank... it depends but at lower levels you can just get what's needed to go to the next tier. In some cases, it may only be worth getting something if you would need to unlock it on the next tier otherwise.

I guess sticking to a lower tier is good for you to get the hang of it. Personally I just love having the volume up and hearing the massive blast as my KV1-S blows massive holes in the enemy

 

I have one Tier IV Tank, the American TD T-60...? w/ 105 Howitzer.

Grinding T-60 crew [SUB]started on 50%[/SUB] to 100% to transfer to T-70 after. On 90%.

 

When you transfer crews, you lose some percentage.

If it's the same type of tank e.g. TD to TD then the loss isn't as bad as it would be from LT to MT/HT.

 

I plan on using the Abilities gained from reaching 100%, then starting 75%.

 

Ahh.... when you get to 100% you get the first set of crew skills. Some skills require that you level that skill itself up to 100%... some require every crew member to have the same skill for it to benefit... some work with increasing value as you skill it up.

If you get the skill for the crew, but then change tank and do not have 100%.. I think you lose that skill until you're back at 100% again.

Just picked up Dead Island and Arkham City GOTY edition.

Dead Islands alright, just time consuming.

Arkham City, can't believe I hadn't picked this up earlier, especially having played Arkham Asylum. Brilliant game.

 

What would recommend as the batter game?

 

Out of the two I mentioned or someone else?
