Ok i know this guys been a bit hit and miss but he is Hungarian and would be a pal for young Tamas. Plus he's now out of contract and looking for a club.... what do you lot reckon?

I've always thought Kiraly was a good keeper, certainly good enough for the Champ.

 

He's a keeper of decent standard although can be a tad erratic at times.

 

I think he'd be a solid signing. I'm not sure why people think he's erratic: because he wears jogging bottoms and jumps up and down when he's angry? Hardly affects his playing style.

 

Would be a good goalie on a free but I wouldnt pay money to sign him

 

i reckon would be a good buy as we want someone to compete with lee for the no 1 spot not neccesarily take it from him. a very talented keeper and if hes available on the free snap him up.

Well, there's us and Charlton in need of a first team goalie. Though I do wonder if Kiraly would describe an offer from Watford at the moment as being from a Premiership or Championship club? I mean, it's all about where he'll be playing football next season, not about what division we're in currently.

 

hes had offers from championship clubs aswell so regardless of how he classes us at the moment we still could have put in an offer for him and i hope we have the question is will he want to come here?

Could be a good deal and would mean we would have two keepers of a similar standard but I would rather we get in an even better keeper than him and someone more long term. Wouldn't be a too disasterous signing though

I don't understand how he's got that reputation - people forget he was as important to them as Johnson in Palace's last Premiership season. Between them those two nearly kept Palace up.

 

One good diver up front and one bad diver at the back. Always remember him as like a Bruce Grobby type. Just wouldn't risk it on him. Plenty of better options.

Ive gotta agree with ya, he's actually a half decent keeper and considering we're a little short in that department i really dont think he's a bad shout at all.

 

Agreed, in my opinion it seems a shame to spend a proportion of the spending money we do have for once on a keeper when lee and even someone like kiraly would be good enough.

 

kiraly is a quality keeper. it seems people are judging him on his choice of atire, which is as crazy as judging carlos valderrama by his hair

 

Certainly not a bad 'keeper. Should offer him a deal and if he says no then so be it.

 

Make sure that - as part of the contract - he gets some decent troosers to replace the shyte he's been wearing these last couple of seasons.

Lee is probably good enough but we do need a backup for him in case of injury etc... I don't think our young un (can't remember his name offhand) is ready for the first team yet.
