Future Plans

Future plans are to let the board rest for a week to find any bugs and get the permissions working OK.
After that the colour scheme should begin to be applied.
Then an arcade, (currently 2 to choose from, I'm looking into it)
Then vbookie mod which will allow us to bet virtual points on footy games and anything else we wish
Then ???

 

Looking good and working well, will probably take a little while to get used to. The updated threads logos arn't very clear, but on the whole an improvement. Well done admin and thanks for putting all the hard work in.

Can't wait till we get a virtul currency and I bocome the first forum millionaire.

I agree. It was The Hornet who said to use a wfc logo in colour and black & white instead. Just need a bit of time to make the logos.

Done a couple of quick icons to the same specs as the ones already there. As gifs with a transparency I cant stick them in photobox if you're interested let me know and I can send them as an attachment to the gmail account?

 

I've done a quick couple of Gifs to the specs of the current logos if you want them. Photobox doesnt like them because they have a transparency layer but if you give me an email I'll pop them over to you as an attachment.

Thanks to Admin, this has been resolved.

 

I played about with the WFC logo last night with a grey hert for no new posts and a normal logo for new posts. Let me know your thoughts please.

I'm in favouro of the blues turning red, but more marooney than scarlet.

 

I presume you're talking about the blues above forums and the menu bar at the top?

 

Yep all of the bluwe if possible, but the colurs are growing on me.

Did you make the text bigger on the menu? Looks a lot clearer now.

 

WOW ....just refreshed the page to check for new posts as been busy and new colours and the thread logos changed.

Only changed a couple of colours and the new & old posts logos.

Only going to change a few things at a time until all the blue has gone. Might take a few days. Work in progress.

 

All you need now is to make those logos smaller to use inside the sub forums, if get what I mean

 

I'm leaning towards leaving the sub forum logs as they are, but maybe with a different colour. The bold thread text shows you the new threads very clearly.

 

I think the site main banner looks much better against a light yellow background too.

 

Stopping for an hour or 2 to give you all a breather! If you all absolutely hate the new style when it's done then everything can be reverted back to original styles in seconds.

 

Sounds like a stressfull time.

I'd make the yellow a touch lighter.
Make the quote backgrounds a very light red / pinkish as if they're the same colour they're difficult to tell apart from the thread.

 

Not stressfull for me, I didn't want the wonderful users to get eye strain too soon Yellow now lighter. I presume you're talking about the quote buttons, similar to new thread and post reply buttons? If so agreed.
