I reckon at a price he would be worthwhile, although I have to say he has looked moderate in the games I have seen him play. He is young and a Dutch International with potential, but although he had a 1 in 3 goals ratio in Holland his record in the Premiership is 1 in 9 in UK (in fairness his injury affected him badly). They say it takes 12 months to adjust to English football (hence Priskins improvement) - so is he the entire solution? - could work out I guess with some help
Even if it is us - he still needs to agree on personal terms with a team almost destined for the drop. Maybe we'll give him some release clause should we not survive in PrL. But at 21 he'd be a great addition to the squad. He is strong and quick and with the right grooming (which we know he'll get from Aidy) he can develop into a future PrL top scorer. A coup not just for now but also for the future - we just have to get him to sign the dotted line.
Nothing to say another team hasn't poached him from under AB's nose! I know alot of lads at the Mirror and they're not the brightest!
very true. He said we're going through t+c's at the moment but I suppose all it takes is for someone to offer him better ones and hey presto we lose him!
