Could he have done a job for us? Is he better than Hendo?

Tough call given that he is now 33 years of age.

For Wises sake lets hope he doesn't ask for Easter off like Horsfield who wanted Christmas off :) What was all that about, taxi back to Colins for Geoff.

    From Wikipedia

On the 3rd of January 2006, Dirty Leeds United confirmed their signing of Flo, with a contract lasting till the end of the 2006/2007 championship season. The contract had the option of extending further into the future. It is likely that manager Dennis "taxi driver beater" Wise was one of the main influences of attracting Flo as they used to be team mates at Chelsea F.C. Flo agreed to help try and fail, to pull Leeds United away from the relagation zone and there have been rumours that he has invested £2.50 of his own money into the club.

    Wise signs former team-mate Flo
    Tore Andre Flo
Flo spent two seasons in Italy before returning to his home country
Leeds boss Dennis Wise has strengthened his attack with the signing of former Chelsea team-mate Tore Andre Flo.

The 33-year-old Norwegian striker was a free agent following a spell with Valerenga in Oslo and has signed until the end of the season.

Flo scored 50 goals for Chelsea before spells with Rangers, Sunderland and Italian side Siena.

Barnet striker Tresor Kandol and Mozambique defender Armando Sa are also poised to join Leeds.

Kandol, 25, joined Leeds in November in a loan move that was set to expire this month and is expected to agree a three-and-a-half year deal.

Subject to international clearance, 32-year-old Sa will arrive from Spanish side Espanyol and will initially join the Championship club until the end of the season.

The 6ft 4ins Flo joined Chelsea in 1997, playing alongside Wise and his assistant at Leeds Gus Poyet during a three-year spell.

He made more than 100 league appearances for the Blues, but nearly half came as a substitute.

His 50 goals were enough to persuade Rangers to pay a then-record £12m for the striker in 2000.

However, after two seasons and 39 goals, he left for Sunderland, where he found the net six times in 33 appearances before heading to Italy.

Tore Andre Flo is far away from Premiership standard these days. He was litterally sacked from Vaalerenga here in Norway for not commiting to the task. His stats this year: Played 11(5), Scored 4.

I predict he will do horribly in Leeds.

He may try harder when playing for his mate.

He was playing for a mate in Vaalerenga too, Kjetil Rekdal :) Rekdal was captain for the Norwegian International team when Flo was in his prime, that's why they got Flo in the first place.

Sounds like a nasty disease. Like Dennis wise.

The question is, do you remember Rekdal's 40-yard strike against England on Wembley in, um, 1993 I think ? England 1 Norway 1, and Norway went to the World Cup. :)

Yawn. It was a fluke, he'd never done anything like that before.
