i was trying to be optimsitc so i could still look forward to the game every week. now all hope has gone to be honest. i will still say, every game, "i reckon we will win"
In reality the turning point, and moment when it was clear we were fighting a losing battle was throwing away a 2.0 lead against Fulham or maybe if not then, the loss to Sheffield united...the season has been one of struggle but did anyone really expect anything different? Anyway we can continue playing for pride, and i hope we beat the 24 points we got last time and don't finish bottom. The premiership is certainly tougher than i expected, and i respect the players and teams more now, particularly Bolton
there was no turning point. after everton which we sholld have been awarded 1 pen and not had one against us. nd west ham where we deserved to win on performance AND they hand balled it in the lead up to their goal, we could have been on 6 poitns, from then on it took us ages to in. it would have all been competely different, king was unlucky to get injured - the one place we didnt get back up for. we could hae done a reading/wigan. it just didnt happen
