Not exactly films, but Eastenders is quite often filmed in Bushey or sometimes Watford if they're not using the studio.

Oxhey is getting used more and more now.

The dire BBC3 series 'The Fades' had a lot of scenes done here and around Watford.
There was a two-part BBC 'yoof' drama, the title escapes me but it was also woeful viewing, filmed around Watford where Oxhey Playing Fields was used a fair bit as the teenagers sat around being all young & good looking.
Another one using Oxhey was 'The Kid' by Nick Moran.

Every so often the car park at the Brookdene Arms, formerly The Pavillion (or The Pav if you were monosyllabic) is filled with vehicles to do with filming locally.

Michael Caine's "Alfie" has scenes filmed at the Busy Bee Cafe, famous for Mods and Rockers.

It was on the A41 Elton Way, where the Hilton Hotel now is.

Not a film but the Inbetweeners used the local area such as Abbots, and the school used, although not in Watford, is actually Ruislip High.

It was. I remember that (not that I'm proud to have watched that awful film).
They were in the Flag one episode.

Several scenes in Alien Vs Predator were filmed in Uxbridge's Chimes shopping centre.

I thought that was just the outside shots not the inside ones?

No, I recognised the inside. It was when they were trying to buy drugs.

Parts of Sex & Drugs &Rock and Roll were filmed in Bushey. A bit of Harry Potter was filmed in the houses opposite Leavesden Studios.

Dalek Invasion Earth 2150 AD. 1966 film starring Peter Cushing, Bernard Cribbins and Ray Brooks. Watford was overrun with Daleks.

After surviving the invasion, in 1973 Norman Wisdom and Harry Fielder were filming outside Watford Junction, although I can't remember the film.

There's a great line in that film where London has been invaded and the Dr says something like "we must escape to the country - lets go to Watford". The next scene has them outside Watford Met station.

Again, not a film but an episode of "Peep Show" included some scenes at the top of the Parade. Jeremy i think it was had some interview or meeting in one of the offices and there's definitely a shot of that coloured glass structure just beyond the pond.
