One for the future maybe? We've currently got 5 good CBs plus Mapps as a backup. I know we've had a lot of bad luck with injuries & suspensions leaving us a bit short but do we really need another one? In an ideal world we'd have about 12 of them but the squad can only be so big.
The Mirror reported that Liverpool were keen on him a couple months ago. Don't know much about him but Hoffenheim are quite a good club, wouldn't mind taking someone quality off their hands.
