if we are bringing Diego Poyet which seems quite plausible. I think that we should loan out Fabbrini to Zola in Cagliari. After last night he certainly needs to bring in a few and with the home grown ruling Fabbrini struggles to get on the bench. Maybe even Ranagie too
Do you realise how transfers work, we cant just ship him off to Cagliari, they may not want him either!
Given their current predicament they need who ever they can get. Just figured with Zola at the helm it would be likely he'll approach the Pozzo dynasty for some help. anyways it was only a suggestion
Fab looked very decent other night albeit in U21 game . Deserves a place on the bench IMO. Perhaps if we sign Poyet it will free up a foreign spot in the match day squad
He's played at four clubs clubs in the last two years. He needs to settle down in one place. Let him just keep working hard here, learning our game and earning his place, and he can be a very good player still.
I doubt most Prem keepers would have saved it either. It would have required a world class save, that's for sure.
Great potential and has flashes of individual (even world class) brilliance, but just never looked comfortable in the championship... whether its the speed of the game or the physical stuff.... I tend to think he'd be better in a technical game in Spain
Fabbrini could be very well utilised in the Christmas tree formation Joka tried a few times earlier in the season, I feel. I'd love to see him used more for us.
He's obviously not sulked and refused to fight for his place like other(s), otherwise he wouldn't have played any part in the youth game last week. I've never been his biggest fan but I'm sure he could bring something to the table for us, maybe he's worthy of another chance.
Apart from his cameo at Reading away (which I didn't see), which was I believe his first appearance, he's not done anything in the Champ except fall over. I haven't seen his more successful games against youth teams and non-leaguers either, but I wonder if he wasn't closed down as quickly. He obviously doesn't fancy any physical stuff. I think I've seen all his home appearances at first-team level and I've no wish to see him again.
Might have imagined a couple of these but I think he played well vs B'mouth at home, Blackburn away, Stevenage away, Norwich at home, Bristol City away and Forest at home. Also remember him getting MOTM at home to QPR but only remember him missing a chance. Granted that's only a handful of games but he's only made about 10 starts for us overall, I think.
You know it's bad when people are asking to give Fabbrini another chance. He's absolutely awful (in this league).
