I'm glad we're not playing a replay tonight, that'll be a rush of ticket sales for either West Ham or Man Utd.

Palace have not sold out and lots of them are trying to sell the single tickets they bought in early phases since they bought 4 together in later stages.

FTR I bought mine Monday in row 10 of one of the upper blocks, in the same block you can get row 13, so we're not selling that fast right now.

Day of the London Marathon too - they'd probably lose any goodwill people have towards the if there was a strike on the 24th.

    I've already got mine.

And they can buy up to 4 each now

Will we follow to try and unload the last 7k or so with realistically a week to go

Given the club don't get a cut of the ticket sales directly I'm not sure they'll be that fussed. Suppose it depends how much admin it involves verses the gain of filling the seats in the highest reaches of the stadium.

ST holders can now buy 4 extra tickets from Thursday.

ST holders can buy up to 4 additional tickets from tomorrow at 5pm.

Very good from the club. Although everyone I know that wanted a ticket have got one.
    Here come the day trippers...

  9. ForzaWatford

I'd rather have 8,000 day trippers than 8k empty seats. I was a 'day tripper' once to a game against Spurs and now i've supported Watford for years and had a ST for the last 4.

Hope the day trippers remember their binoculars :]]

24,700 sold - so just under 7,000 left.

Better to have waited and leave the day trippers in the upper tier than doing this straight away and have them eating their sandwiches in the lower tier and telling people to sit down.

Also whats the s******y about the top-tier about? It was twice the price to sit in the lower tier... Does it make me a worst fan that I paid less to sit further up?

Edit - Sn obbery is censored!?

Apparently the FA have returned some of their lower tier allocation so either way there will some of the sit down brigade there.

This happened to us last time. Ticket master look after one end of the stadium and another company the other. Each has their own policy on where and when they release tickets

Should I panic? I ordered mine last week rather than when they first came out

I ordered mine when the first batch came out but I still haven't got them.

I was just checking mine (which I ordered on the 30th last month) had arrived, and I hope to goodness I haven't left it too late, because it seems the ticket office has royally ****ed up this time, with three Everton tickets for the Rookery sent to me on 1 April, assigned to people I don't even know.

Thankfully I haven't been charged for all those extra tickets, but it looks like another 30+ minutes of my precious time wasted on the phone tomorrow - although perhaps it might be better to email them? It will take longer to get a response, but at least I won't be spending so much of my time sorting it out.

Incidentally, this doesn't seem to have been the first ****-up on their part, because according to my bank statement I haven't been charged for the Bournemouth game - not that I'm complaining here!

I ordered mine on Monday and they came today.

Maybe there's an in tray and they're working from the top.

Given that your names and fan ID's are on there, you might want to remove them, given someone on this thread already had his ID used "accidentally"

Whats wrong with them btw, look like Everton (h) tickets to me.

But they're not my names and fan ID's, I don't know any of those people, so didn't see any harm in posting those.

What's wrong with them? I was expecting a Palace ticket of course! The Everton one I ordered on 18 March was sent on 5 April, just as weirdly.

Palace (fans form) reporting they have sold 30,000 so under 2,000 left-picked up since "members" can buy up to a further 4 each

  25. Those are mine! Could you take the picture down please, I don't want my ID being hijacked for the final.*

Not really mine, but they are somebody's!

  26. Some Watford fans might not be either - block 128 has just become available. All of it. Don't know if people can change their bookings, but if I was in the gods because I needed to get tickets for friends and family to sit together, I'd have the hump.

Well it's unlikely these are in any danger of being hijacked, given you need to know at least one of those people AND their email address.

But regardless, I've taken them down and edited the post accordingly. :)

Anyone else who likewise ordered tickets on the 30th and still hasn't received them?

I ordered mine in probably the first 5 minutes of sale and they landed on my doormat this morning.

Ah well, no need to panic I guess, hope things were sorted out in time for that Rookery lot!

Do you? I added friends through their surname and fan ID.

Why did they only release block 128 now? Doesn't make much of a difference to me as I'm in 127 but still.

  34. UEA_Hornet

It was in the FA's allocation which they have sent to the club instead late in the day.

I was thinking more if someone wanted to use a fake ID they'd still need to know their email to get the password (eg someone in Category B who's hoping to get to an away game at short notice). But like you said, that wouldn't stop someone from adding the ID to their friends if they were booking en masse.

Which suggests that the Watford ticketing site need to do something to improve security to prevent a repeat of what happened to Robert Peel...
