    Nachos yes!
Coke and Lucozade? Hell naw, baby. What are you 14? The Superbowl is for BEER AND NACHOS. You'd be able to sleep really well now if you'd had beer.

Thank you all, lads. I feel that today we have created a bond that none of us will ever forget.

And yes, I am like 14. Well, I'm 17 in March.

Great play from Eli in the fourth. Credit where credit is due, the Giants were fantastic all through the game and the Pat's just had no answers on the OL.

Well deserved win for the Giants and now Eli doesn't have to live under the shadow of his brother Peyton.

cant believe it, fell asleep in the 3rd quarter, woke up at 7.30 and went on teletext to check the score. I was actually shocked, i thought the pats would go all the way. Heh 18-1, theres always next year ;)

Giants deserved it though, they were very well prepared. Im glad Eli got MVP :)

    Seahawks for superbowl 43 !

In my opinion Strahan should have been MVP. Had Brady bricking it all day long.

Cheers to Fitzy and Proudy for an enjoyable spot of banter during the game. A classic game made all the better by the musings of the two mentioned above. Huzzah!

Thomas is a native of Pampa, Texas, and then went to Texas Tech. The Dolphins selected Thomas 154th overall out of Tech in 1996. The 5-foot-11 linebacker then led Miami in tackles 10 times and is the team's career leader in that category with 1,642. His 168 games in Miami are the most by a defensive player.

After missing only 13 games in his first 11 years, and having a career-best 165 tackles in 2006, Thomas missed 11 games last season. He still had 52 tackles in the five games he played.

Thomas missed two games in September because of a concussion. Then after Miami's loss to New England on Oct. 21, his vehicle was rear-ended on Florida's Turnpike. He didn't play again and was placed on injured reserve against his wishes in December because of nagging migraines, an aftereffect of the car crash.

Yikes. Those concussions are worrisome. Still, he's no QB, so he doesn't have to actually think!

Just want to pick a few brains lads..... your thoughts on Chargers for next season to me they look a decent punt for the Superbowl, did OK this time round backing Pats at 10-1 and 8-1 this time last year then laying off and hedging into the play offs.

Asante Samuel to the Eagles, things are looking up for my boys.

I don't know about odds, but I'd fancy the Texans to make it to the playoffs, but as for who will win the whole thing, who knows. There are no real standout teams in my opinion.

Chargers and Pats both look pretty stable going into training camps. Neither will change too much as a result of the NFL draft...

I don't think you lads appreciate how much a good draft can change the complexion of a team. Well, some do. Anyway, the draft is coming up in April, and the lowly pro teams pick first. Some great players will go to mediocre teams, changing the balance of the league.

It's really tough for me to say now how the teams will look in September.

The question you should be asking is "Who will be the #1 pick"? Followed by the obligatory "Will he be great or a flop?" Noteworthy: 1998 1st round (overall #2) pick Ryan Leaf was a huge flop, but Tom Brady was a 6th round (overall #199) pick in 2000...

This is one of the reasons you should follow college football. at least peripherally if you want to keep up with what will happen next year in the Pro's

Looks like the Titans are going to pick up Alge Crumpler. Not a bad TE and did well in Atlanta. Certainly an upgrade on the other TE we used to have.

Tebow is staying on in the colleges isn't he?

I have mixed feelings about this...
On the one hand, I've seen Lazarus rise and push the boulder out of the way of his tomb a few times already. On the other, he's a damn good QB. It's only a question of whether or not he's got the will to sustain another grueling season.

    Tough call.

Well hes finally decided to retire.
The best quarterback in recent NFL history IMO.
