The lad is obviously a class act, but him and especially Foden need a ******* kick up the backside. JB strolls around far too much and Foden needs to learn how to pass and not take 4 touches when 1 is enough.

Also I don't feel any sympathy for Wales other than for Pagey. They didn't have the quality to break down an aging awful pathetic Poland side at home for 2 hours of football and therefore don't deserve to be there.

I quite enjoyed watching England last night. Are Foden and Bellingham a little arrogant? Probably but the best players generally are. I thought Toney looked decent, held the ball up, came deep. Probably nudged ahead of Watkins in the pecking order. Mainoo was excellent and I would think he will go to the Euro's. Losing Stones after a few minutes didn't help the defence and Pickfords poor kick is just one of those things but Dunks defending for their second goal is abysmal. I always tell my U14 team to stay on your feet as once you go to ground there is no recovery. He didn't even need to slide in!
I'm ok with Southgate as not sure who else might come in and as we've seen changing head coach is not always the answer!

 

Southgate has done a very good job and the stick he faces is pretty bizarre really.

The Brazil game was played with all the intensity of a testimonial and I didn't see yesterday, but a 2-2 draw with Belgium is fine by me in what is essentially a training game.

I think Southgate experimented with Dunk across both games viewing him as a possible starter in Germany, but he's wasted the opportunity. I would've liked to have seen Branthwaite or possibly Colwill in there as I think there's a lot more upside there, but am positive for the Euros and I believe we'll win them.

 

The quality of English CDs is so poor I expect Pollock will be getting a call soon.
