Also thought Parker was below average - he took too much time on the ball and either got tackled or made a dodgy pass far too many times. Him, Young and Johnson were the only weak links today, although Milner didn't do much he didn't particularly do badly - ineffective, rather than making mistakes.

I noticed that what an absolute c**t! Just shouted in his face when they were bundled into the net after the goal.

I suppose you missed the bit where Hart decides to come and start shoving Elmander? Ibra sticking up for his players, don't let that get in the way of things though.

I'd fully expect Terry to do the same if Isaksson started shoving Welbeck.

Young was woeful. No other English player was close to him for being ****. Even Milner put a couple of decent Crosses in.

Well that's nonsense. He touches his shoulder to get the ball.

We made it hard for ourselves as ever but good to comeback so well and inspired change by Hodgson.

Another cracking game..played like a Premiership game.

Could keep the ball better but don't we always say that!

Come on mate, the video Simms posted makes it clear.

The Swedish players were celebrating and fell into Hart who pushed them away in a not overly aggressive way. Ibra (who I do rate very highly as a player) reacted needlessly and had a *****y little pop. There was no need for it and I hope Hart caught up with him at the final whistle. And even if Hart had been out of order with Elmander it isn't as if Ibra of all people has any right to have a go at someone for being a c*nt to the Swedish players.

Thought Johnson was one of our better players, Young was very poor.

He pushed them as they moved in to his goal but don't let that get in the way of things.

Who would you guys play up front next time? Was impressed with carroll and Welbeck, Welbeck looks like he could be huge under SAF.

I think start Rooney/Welbeck and switch to Carroll if we need a different approach

Got to admit i'm no fan of Andy Carroll, and I was not a fan of the decision to even take him along... but he can feel free to prove me wrong like that whenever he likes! Fantastic header and his work-rate in the first half was the best on the pitch.

Youngy was woeful - as much as I don't like to say it. But thankfully in a game where he should have been a key player in terms of delivering the ball onto Carroll's head, Walcott's performance was absolutely fantastic. Totally changed the game. I'd have no hesitancy in dropping Milner who has done very little so far in the tournament in place of Walcott, but I do love the prospect of both him and Oxlade-Chamberlain coming off the bench against tired players. Oxlade was very unlucky not to have a goal to his name and also nearly got on the end of an overhit Gerrard pass just before the final whistle which would also have put him through 1-on-1. Was crying out for Gerrard not to take it off his foot moments before as well!

It's never simple with England, and I was genuinely worried at 2-1 down. The introduction of Walcott changed the game though.

Twitter really is the number one place for idiots to voice their opinion and have it heard. A couple of the best ones tonight are that Johnson was MOTM and that Gerrard, of all the people to single out for such a comment, has no technical ability. Wow.

Credit has to go to Hodgson for choosing to put on Walcott over Downing or AOC - would've been easy to do either.

Which probably doesn't say much for the widemen that started!

I suppose Rooney will be straight into the team.

Lets hope he doesn't do anything stupid this time!

Defence was a concern considering its supposed to be a strong point.

We'd be disappointed if our defence let in 2 goals like that!

Chamberlain certainly has the ability to change a game the same way Walcott did but Walcott was the right choice tonight. Downing wouldn't have changed anything, he would have been a like for like replacement for Milner - sh*t and ineffective for sh*t and ineffective.

I love rollercoaster rides, but not so much when I watch football. Very similar to when we played Cameroon in 1990. I thought we played poorly today overall, but got away with it. The defense was all over the place and midfield overrun. How can a team like Sweden cause us so many problems. John Terry was absolutely ****e tonight, and I'm afraid Young was not much better.

Having said that, I thought Johnson and Milner deserve special praise for playing above usual standards. Walcott made a big impact, and Carrol's goal was straight from the 1970's. You just don't see header’s like that anymore, that was something very special.

England do have heart and spirit which is a refreshing change, but after such a professional, composed performance against France, lots of questions will be asked even in victory after tonight.

At the end of the day, it's tournament football. We've given ourselves a good chance of qualifying and now Rooney is eligible to play. That should improve the quality of the side.

Yes, maybe you've got a problem with Glen Johnson but you don't have to make a comment everytime anyone says something positive about him. Let it go, we all know what you think of him.

It's my opinion, so get over it.

I don't have a "problem" with Johnson, he's just not an England international standard right back and was yet again very poor tonight, and to say both he AND Milner, who was also absolutely woeful, both deserve "special praise" for their performances is just absolutely ridiculous. What game could you have possibly been watching?

If only we had a midfielder capable of holding onto the ball and picking the right pass with regular efficiency. We have nobody who can dictate the pace and tempo of our play from the middle. Such a shame Wilshere is injured, he'd have made a huge difference to this team. So many times today we ruined ourselves by giving the ball away needlessly. We're so inept on the ball, it's unreal.

Johnson was brilliant against France, tonight he was woeful for the most part. Gave the ball away a lot and his positioning was terrible. Milner doesn't seem to offer anything beyond running a lot, couple of decent crosses but he isn't a threat to the opposition defenders.. Young was absolutely terrible, which is a surprise because he looked so lively in the friendly games before the tournament. I'd probably stick with Johnson against Ukraine, mostly on the basis of his performance against France. Young and Milner should be very worried about keeping their places after today. Walcott changed the game when he came on and gave us a threat on the wing for the first time in the game. It'll be interesting to see how Roy approaches the final game. It's going to be very tough needing a result with the home fans roaring Ukraine on. Far from confident of going through at this point.

I am not a fan of Johnson, and I reckon Micah Richards should be in the team ahead of him, but he produced some great last ditch tackles last night, having said that he maybe should not have had to do that, had he been better positioned in the first place; overall though to say he was woeful is unfair IMHO!

Now had you said Ashley Young was woeful, you would get no argument from me, he had a terrible game!!!

Really enjoyed the match last night. I'm not a fan of the tippy tap football that Spain and France play, it bores the cr*p out of me now, so it was good to see a real game of football with a proper centre forwards goal, then coming back from behind, fantastic stuff. I think we can avoid defeat against the hosts and go through, and like Italia 90 I hope something clicks almost by accident because when we want to we can play a bit.

Got a feeling last night when Walcott's goal went in that perhaps lady luck is smiling on us in 2012.

Way I saw it was usual stuff, minor handbags, Zlatan stands in and yells **** you at Hart amongst other things (going both ways..), and it was a clear heat of the moment episode..

Thing is, whilst he's come in with this intention of playing nice attacking football, and he's utilised Zlatan well rather than having the game go past him whilst he stands 30 yards ahead of everybody else, he's completely lost what Sweden was always famed for and why England never beat Sweden in a competitive game until last night, the defensive discipline and being so hard to beat.

Now Sweden have conceded 5 goals in 2 games, and it's on Hamren's head so to speak, I only imagine the France game will further this too.

I can also see Zlatan retiring from international football after the tournament, it wouldn't surprise me if he did.

People just seen Johnson as an easy target but he had a brilliant game against France, one of our best players and another good performance last night. All three goals were fantastic in their own right and Walcott really did change the game. Young and Milner were both terrible, Ash was diving all over the place. Gerrard had another good game and once again I was a little unimpressed with Parker once again but we have no other options. Feel perfectly safe with Lescott partnering terry but the defending for both of their goals was woeful, nobody picking up at all, why on earth was Ashley Cole in the wall with Young marking?

Fantastic game overall and finally an England team with a bit of fight in them. Rooney back for the final game but Carroll and Welbeck were both superb, not sure what I'd do if I were Hodgson.
