The club have announced. Shame. But I guess he needs gaymes. Ikpeazu and Mensah also on their way. http://mobile.watfordfc.com//news/article/160601-watford-fc-retained-released-list-3132264.aspx Jakubiak stays though. Ready for his sale to Peterborough next season.
You'd imagine probably for the best for his career, wish him all the best. A really solid player for us and pretty consistent. As mentioned above assuming his fitness is ok now he could be a shrewd bit of business for a championship side.
Always gave his all, and shame his injury occurred when it did. Good luck to him. He would benefit most clubs looking to get promotion to the EPL.
Good luck Joel. As Andrew said, the three relegated clubs would be mad not to look at him. Newcastle are getting rid of Coloccini and Taylor, sounds like Clark is leaving Villa and Norwich have Bassong so they should all be desperate for a quality centre back.
Good luck Joel. Was never quite the same after whatever happened to him in the aftermath of Deeney's goal vs Leicester.
Looked brilliant just before he got injured after a dodgy second season with us. Played 100 times for us exactly I think EDIT: Just realised the article has that stat anyway!
He was quicker and better on the ball than most of the centre backs we had in the Championship but... he was one of the most easily bullied centre backs I've ever seen. Time after time he'd lose 50-50s or aerial duels and then commit a petulant, cowardly foul a few minutes later and get booked. He did, however, look far more comfortable on the odd occasion we played four at the back so perhaps he could've been a decent option for us last season if fully fit.
Josh Doherty just signed for Layton Orient in League 2. Good to see our released youngsters getting contracts at pro clubs.
