Would be a shame, I've always thought he's looked promising in the pre-season games i've seen him in in recent years.

Obviously going to be tough to force his way past Taylor, Mapps, Mirfin & Bennett for the centre-back position though.

Hope he's not on his way, but time will tell.

 

He is in the same situation as Hogg was at Villa. Probably desperate to play first team games but cannot see it happening in the near future so needs to get away in order to prevent his career drying up before it has even started.

How strong do you think the stand's foundations can be? The risk that he'd jump up with joy and destroy a second stand is just too big to make it a realistic option to keep him.
