as the weeks have rolled by rather quickly it will not be long before the season draws to an end. Will the club offer early bird prices for season tickets like last year? will you take up the earlybird ST if it is done agian? will you wait to see what division we are in before buying/renewing your ST? What increase if any wold you accept in percentage mterms if we stay in the premiership? Should the club reduce ST prices for the fizzy pop and by how much and should they even be silly and reduce to sell out like this season so we get large attendances. In a way subsidise the fans?
i will renew whatever. can't see prices rising if we stay i prem due to increase in TV money and as long as we pay the same as last year in fizzy pop, don't mind either (to be honest will pay whatever as long as i can pay direct debit monthly)
be surprised if anyone here wouldn't renew, apart from those in strasbourg, dublin, manchester etc.. its not a matter of money at all. do you ever think how much your ST cost when you're watching?
People do moan about the money it costs for tickets - more so when we are losing most weeks. If we are relegated by end March how mnay of the 13k ST holdrs will renew on early bird? 9k took up the early bird last season. I spoke to GS at a reserve match and i predicted 8,500 early birds - he was very surprised at the amount I suggested. But going down, we may well get similar sales as i think its not the fact of what division we are i next term, it will be people wanting to be part of the rollercoaster - if we fail to go up next season - the season after sales will dip.
Why's that then? If you fully supported the team you would get a ST no matter what division we are in.
The lad I sit next to can't afford to buy one outright so I pay for his Season ticket and claim money back on a monthly basis.
cost no problem. renew now no problem. the only people this effects, are the gloryhunting massive fair weather fans, like the one who asked me who the team captain was twice, this season already. i hope the go back to ceefax, and sky sports news as quick as they turned up. no loss what so ever. roll on next year
Earlybird should be offered. Yes, I will always renew, so would be silly not to take the cheapest price. No point - see answer above They were heavily reduced last time we went down from the Prem(not, not), but they had really ramped the prices up when we got there in the first place. This time I think we'll get a small rise in price whatever the division, which is only fair, as we haven't had a rise in 2 seasons. I'll accept whatever rise, but would be unhappy with anything over 10% Take a leaf out of Charltons book - reduce prices and fill the ground in the CCC
My plan is to get a Season Ticket regardless, though I'll have zero chance if we stay up. Don't anticipate any problem if we get relegated however. If we stay up I'll be on at the club to get on the waiting list - even if I can't get one now once the capacity hits 23000 in 2010 I'll be fine! Lol. Other than that I hope the club don't just accept anyone onto the waiting list: they should take into account history and membership status. No doubt they won't though. Hoepfully gonna get one for the Rookery too if my luck holds. Guess I'll have to wait and see where we end up! Oh and to answer Paddy's question I don't anticpate a price rise if we stay up though I'd guess up 10% if we go down.
Early bird for sure but irrespective of which division we might be in I would like to see a loyalty scheme. There is a small pecentage of fans who travel the lenght and breadth of the country week in week out just to follow Watford. If the club wants this type of support then why not show their appreciation by some type of discounted season ticket. I know some one will tell me that there is no system in place to make this happen but its hardly rocket science. Oh and one more thing I would like a clock on the front of the Vic stand just like we used to have on the Rookery.
Early bird like last year. I've been sitting in the same seat for the past 4 seasons so i guess i cant move from it now.
