Do you access this site from mobile devices?

No, it's a 3rd party. VBulletin have a version but it's not good enough yet from what I've read.

 

It's not third party Admin, it's part of IPB's latest suite, I have it on a few websites and no extra plugins or installs have to be setup.

There are IPB apps as well though.

 

Also, sorry, I use the site on my Blackberry and it's fine to read and post on.

 

I was talking about VBulletin. I know VB4 is better for mobiles so perhaps the change will have to come quicker than planned.

 

Hopefully, you'd think with vB's biggest competitor being IPB they'd develop a mobile platform to rival!

 

Damn you - I'd just bought the software ! Oh well, one less half pint for me this week.

 

I do on my iphone but because the internet on there is so slow, I dont post, I just look at the updates.

 

What about security , how do you stop orginizations hacking into your mobile ?

One thing that doesn't seem to work for me on any mobile I've used (either Nokias or Windows Mobile phones) is the shout box. I don't know why though.

 

To be fair I've never accessed it. Might do a quick trial.

 

Worked ok using MW6 and Opera. Was a bit slow over wifi.
