David Bell

According to information received from a source close to the player, Watford and Sunderland have enquired about the availability of David Bell and Bell was surprised to be informed by the club that they are willing to listen to offers for his services despite recently extending his contract by two years.

It seems it is only a matter of Luton's hearing the right amount of money and the club will be willing to sell him.

David is happy at Luton but if the club want him to go he will be prepared to leave for the right personal terms.

Whether this is to provide some funds to finance Blackwell's rebuilding or yet another asset stripping exercise I do not know!

 

Vital Football is a fan site so this is likely to be more genuine than TribalFootball. An odd one though, I was under the impression that the Luton fans didn't like him too much.

I don't know enought about him, and for that reason i don't see that he'd be any better than Smith on the right (if Bell was a good crosser of the ball etc i'd assume he'd always play that position not c/m as well).
If he is going to play in the c/m he might be useful but surely we'd only sign him if we get rid of some of the squad players we already have in that position

 

I'd say that goes for any position we were to sign players for.

Im sure he was one of those players that was good on football manager at one point. thats all i know other than hes a slight light in the pile of **** at kenilworthless road.
