Im new on here....I was a "lurker" but though id start getting involved. Please feel free to ask me any questions, in order for you to suss out just how much of a fellow horn i am. A few questions that i would ask.........ill answer for you: - 1. How long have i been gracing the vic? - My dad took me to my first game back in 86.......i cant remember who we played or what the score was. (First memorable game was a 4-1 loss at home to a John Barnes Liverpool. First away game was a tuesday night trip to Swindon - turned up 10 mins late due to traffic and missed the Watford goal. We drew 1-1 i think. Possible 1988 - unsure. Basically, i blame the parents for me writing this on here.. 2. Best ever away game? - Well obviously we cant count 04/10/1997 or the hello 2006 result up the road. GREAT DAYS!! BUt that is just too obvious... So here are some memores: - 1. Remember the petrol shortage? Good, then you'll remember the trip to Blackburn, where after being 2-0 down in 20 mins, Micah Hyde stepped up, took control of the game and produced an awesome performance as we went on to win 4-3! 2. Another away day on a tuesday night? - No problem.........2-0 down at Backburn above! Try being 3-0 inside 20 mins at the Hawthorns......Ramage and Colin Foster last minute equaliser. Bang! Have that celebration in injury time Baggies fans! Mental. 3. Bristol City away x 2: - And not the promotion securing point at Easter either - the one with the banner "Bristol City Champions 1997-98" hahahahahahaha. Tell you what City fans - you travel up to Preston - and i along with 4,000 fellow Horns will have a celebration on the Craven Cottage pitch...... No, not that one..........1. next season - Jonno's absolute wonder strike, volley from about 400,000,000 yards away. Nice little 4-1....ill take it. 2. Carling cup......2-0 down 80 mins on the clock.......i wanna go home, we all wanted to go home. Nah, i think we'll turn up 80 mins late, and score 3 goals in ten mins......a penalty (tick) and a Micah Hyde diving header (tick). Sweet! Another one - Vale Park - 2-1 West Ham - FA Cup / Premier League double 1-0 victory? Norwich away - hot day - 2-1 win - the little shyte David "show me the money" Connolly and Gary Porter (hero) 35 yarder. Cheers Big Dev for the header to Muzzy Izzet a week later! Great memories.......Big celebrations........ Worst day - Losing 2-1 to the scummers at home in the cup - the silence at the end said it all, those two seconds before the dumb idiots started celebrating at the other end......those two seconds was realisation for the players what they had just done. Cheers boys.........thanks for nothing. Is Malks good enough? - anyone can beat anyone in this league, its all about confidence, and good form. He has learnt from Aidy that team spirit to get out of the chumpionship is everything. Only when we've been there (promise land), and big time charlies think they're too good for this league does it not work, and we found that to our cost when we got relegated. It started so well, and then see you later Aidy, it didnt work anymore. We have a nice little squad.......and have my fingers crossed that the injuries stay away. Should we go up this season or wait? - erm...........this season please...ill take £40m to get relegated again and become a yo-yo club if thats what it takes..... GT is chairman - and he wont be greedy! As in life Greed = Downfall! We'll be sorted! Can it happen? - Why not? Why the hell not? Its why we love football! COME ON THE BOYS!!!!!!!

There should be an unwritten code that the FA bring up, and the club can use - where i dont care what contracts say, if your making no effort, and the club can prove it (turning up late with a £20 fine in your hand) generally making the team spirit plummet, they should like the rest of us, be sacked with no compensation for footballing gross misconduct! That would sort Ellington out as well.... If every club had this contract stance, we wouldnt have the bullsh1t.....and small clubs wouldnt waste money on negatrons!
