Absolutely, but making them freely available to 55 million people may not be.

Department of Health (and Social Care). Why some are ‘of’ and some ‘for’ no one knows. QI question.

Given what is going on in Ukraine it’s all gone quiet COVID wise.

Hopefully that is good news and means everything is settling down .

A two week pivot from illicit Christmas parties to potential nuclear war has been a challenge. I miss the old days.

He's a complete fruit loop. I think the best thing is for him to be overthrown from within.

He probably thought that was the end of his worries and could have a quiet few months !

He's the sort of guy who'd like to be known as the man with the cojones to press the button. He's 69, he's had a decent life, and what a way to go out.

232,000 new cases in the last seven days and 741 deaths. Both measures heading South.

Not home and dried, but at least vigorously towelling ourselves off.

Nuclear war probably gets the nod as today’s object of paranoia.

TBH he's probably paranoid about someone suiciding him.

Let's face it, his underlings have become quite skilled at it over the years.

I tested positive for the first time on Thursday, the day the pandemic was officially 'over'.

I'm (reasonably) young, (reasonably) healthy and triple jabbed. And I still feel really quite unwell.

Can only imagine how bad this virus was before vaccination and mutating to be less deadly!

Hope you're on the road to recovery asap. As you say the toughest forum members went toe to toe with the virus nearly 2 years ago at its most dangerous :). Waiting until Omicron and 3 jabs is cheating really.
My UK based head of finance went down with it today and is now feeling pretty rough having initially tried to work through it from home.

The lad has come home from Uni for a visit and within a couple of days has tested positive. No symptoms for either Mrs Moose or me, but, and in case we can avoid getting it, he is now banned from the kitchen.

This means we now have to wait on him, taking his meals to his room, emphasising what a cruel illness this is. I mean, this is my weekend and I’m waiting on the big layabout.

You aren’t allowed to ban him from the kitchen anymore as per freedom day. I’ve made a report to the relevant parties/authorities.

No one cares m8, Boris said we can do what we like. I could keep him in there with an electric cattle prod and it would be ok.

Mine tried that. It morphed into frequent handwashing and mask changing when I presented him with 10 wayfayer meals ("...can be enjoyed hot or cold...") and two buckets with a roll of bin liners "...one for solids the other for liquids..." with a cheery "See you on Monday!"

So naturally I did get it. Been quite rough with a high temp, sore throat and I have produced enough goo to fill a bath.

Anecdotally, haven’t known so many people with it before, not just from our little outbreak, but work colleagues, people in other organisations and wider family.

Went to the Doctors yesterday, just asthma check up thing so dont worry cyan fans, anyway, I was quite shocked that they are still in more or less full Covid mode, face masks, goggles, gloves etc. Seems to fly in the face of Government advice which does make you wonder what is going on with our full easing of covid restrictions.

Likewise, I know so many people with it at the moment - most of whom hadn’t had it before now. Like you, most have felt rough with flu-like symptoms but haven’t been unwell for long. It’s taking most of them a week, though, to test negative. Mr HH and I still haven’t had it - writing that of course ensures that we will now get it just in time for my birthday next week which is due to be the first one for two years that we haven’t been in lockdown for.
