    If we are looking for a young HG GK, initially as a No2 or 3, then we could do a lot worse than this guy! He has had a great season on loan at Oldham from Middlesbrough, he is 24 and is the son of ex footballer Stuart Ripley.

    He would certainly be better than our current No3 & 4 GK's and possibly could challenge our No2 as well; another big plus he is HG too!

    Ripley would never leave the NE and certainly not to be a No 3.
