Admin do you have clarity on how all users have amassed their orns? Following on from PYA's departure yesterday in his parting shot at three individuals he made some accusations. At the time i didn't realise that the three people he had issue with all appear in the top 4 richest users and all three were up until yesterday connected to the site as either a mod or a bookie. Before anyone jumps on to the defensive, this is not a dig simply a question to seek some clarity.
Paddy's claims were that some user including me post rubbish to get are post count up to get more orns. This is not true from me as compared to alot of regulars my post count is actually not that high, and is half paddy's post count. I run the vbookie area, and sometimes i wonder why, if this is what i have to put with.
I won the lottery 3 times, ok once was as the bookie but until now it appeared nobody cared and merely had a laugh about it. I won 5000 orns on manure winning at reading 3-2 in the cup and have won the odd competition which gives out sort of 100-500 orns depending on the comp. Whilst the rest are just from posting. Not arguing just giving you some clarity

I'm sure there are no allegations here, just a fair question. I'm happy to explain. We have full clarity and can investigate the 'orn history of everyone. As with other forms of forum moderation, any action taken may or may not be public and is always discussed between staff, before acted upon.
Grow up and put the spoon away. Lots of people are interested in the question following what has gone on. You have to attempt to turn everything round when clearly there is no need.
Sorry if over reacted there jobr its just that in the last few days i have got stick for something that had nothing to do with me now this. i made alot of money of the nme awards i was given some advise on who nme readers like by a mate and he told be to go for jamie t so i put 1500 orns on him and won also yesterday i bet on mccarthy to be first goalscorer and blackburn to win or a draw. I forget the other bets i have made but i allways have sportdaq prize money aswell what does sometimes make it seem i have more orns then i really do.

Late to the party as usual, office move over the weekend and today everyone wants their computers connected first :dismay: 'Orns? Apart from what's already been posted in this thread quite accurately, I can only add that until recently there was quite a discrepancy between forums. Some forums would pay 2 'Orns for a new post and 1 'Orn for a thread view, others would pay 10 and 5 respectively. Unfortunately the LB Steam room was a big payer, so threads with thousands of posts made by a few people would see them gain 'Orns quicker than others. This has since been changed to pay the same as the other areas, and before the end of this week I'll be changing the forums so that football posts will pay more 'Orns than the fun areas. I watch new accounts for transfers of 'Orns, and I watch who's donating to who. Any 'Orns paid out by me, Hornmeister or WFCHornet2 for competitions, (via Admin donate), are always given a good description so you know the function isn't being abused. Apart from Chewitts legitemate betting wins, I think most of the richest people are there because of many posts in several fun threads. This wasn't taking advantage of the situation IMO, but just poorly setup by me, (by default the economy setup gives away loads of 'Orns for posts when I've created a new forum, and a couple of times I've missed it). As everything here, I'm quickly informed if something isn't working out right so it's quickly adjusted. I'm also convinced the richest here are not placing many bets, (again apart from Chewitt), so quite clearly shows the folly of betting

Good move Admin. This forum is primarily a football forum and that should be reflected in the way the community is setup.
I certainly agrre with that, like the chat about music (and certain ladies in people's avatars!) and that and the arcade, it is just the constant spamming by some users who seem intent on winding people up or boosting their post count. It has been a bit better the last few days with a certain dodgy second hand car salesman missing
To be honset i dont really come on here for the football posts. i find the stuff in the steam room more interesting. is that bad?
Only my opinion. My first reason for coming on here is Watford football club. I have no issue with any of the general chat areas or the actual threads themselves. Some are of no interest and I ignore them so to speak. What I dislike and again please remember this is only my personal opinion is at times I believe certain individuals just posted on these threads for the sake of it. My other dislike and I know this view is shared by quite a few others is that certain threads were hijacked and turned in to attention seeking. The above is a generalisation and not a dig at any individuals.
I hate it when people say that cos i will not know if your talking about me or not. Just out of interest what type of things annoying you. if my posting habits do annoy anyone let me know, as i dont mind talking about it without starting world war 3.
