Brewery Tour of the Greene King Brewery in Bury St. Edmunds today. Was well worth it, and the tasting session at the end. Good use of an Afetrnoon, and the best thing my Step-Mum's done in ages!
Good to hear CP. What was the tasting like? Get many beers? Green King Own the rights to the old Moorland beers such as Speckled hen? I've done: Black Sheep York Brewery Fullers Hogs Back Theakstons Would definitly recommend the Hogs Back, takes about 1 hour to go round, stopping 4 times for a taster, then about an hour in the boardroom with more tasters. All for a fiver and you get a free glass. Fullers was also pretty good surprising how such a big name can operate on a relatively small scale.
