Andrews, Park, Diakite, Thorne, McCheacran & Dyer. Money wasted on rubbish players not fit for purpose. At least with Chalobah we have some sort of idea
He never wanted to be a footballer in the first place. He wanted to be... A LUMBERJACK! I wonder if Chelski are regretting giving him such M-HASSIVE pay rise based on the loan spell he has with us?
I would argue that he's not really necessary. Too similar to the types of midfielder we already have. We need a ball-winner. Especially given how well Layun played in midfielder the other day, what's the point in bringing Chalobah in?
When Deeney etc. move on, we'll recoup a lot of wages in the transfer fee. If we sink 30k a week on Chalobah and don't get promoted, that's a lot of money down the hole.
Harsh, certainly not rubbish. Just like Bellerin, I think he should have been given more of a chance with us.
But Could he fill the Chalobah role? His last appearance was a night to remember.
Understandable with the Clarke connection. I wonder if we were actually ever back in for him or if it was just the Mail making it up as he was successful here?
It's interesting that the Pie Man Samuel launched into a tirade against Parma and their loan system the other day. Mentions of Chelsea's loan system - 0. Can't fall out with Jose. *****.
Utterly pointless for his development though. Playing for a team midtabling around for the rest of the season. Probably in a system that won't utilise him like ours would. Thing is, as its to Mourinho Lapdog #2, Chelsea won't ask for the wage demands they asked of us.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...market-like-cattle-market--Martin-Samuel.html Did we read the same article?
That one is from a while ago, the one the other day he lauded the fact that Parma were bottom of Serie A by basically saying it served them right.
He's a silly boy Mediocre at Forest and Boro, not even good enough to play at Burnley might well have cost him a prem career, now going to Reading.... flops there and what is left for him? Should have put football ahead of wajizz
For all we know Reading may have been the only ones in for him, I'd be very surprised if we had any interest at all. At least he'll be getting game time there.
I'd say the opposite. He started brilliantly but his form started to stagnate, so we didn't fight to keep him.
Chelsea are to blame by forcing clubs that could have aided his development (and I'm not saying just us) to shell out to loan him whilst happily sending him to 'Mourinho's Minions' teams without the same financial cost but at the detriment of his development. Burnley was never going to be the right fit based on the style of football. Not sure who runs the operation down there but they should be chucked out on their ear. I guess it speaks volumes that I can't even recall the last youngster to come through the ranks there. I read that Patrick Bamford wants to break into the first team there. Someone might want to tell him.
