Dons triallists fail to impress TRIALLISTS Jon Main and Ben Gill have been allowed to leave the Dons after failing to sufficiently impress boss Martin Allen. Striker Main, 26 - who is the top scorer in the Ryman Premier League - has returned to non-league Tonbridge Angels while midfielder Gill, 19, has returned to Watford after both failed to shine in reserve fixtures. Dons boss Allen said: "We had a little look at them but there's no room for them here."
