I think a good use of part of the PL cash would be to recall Dyer and make him train on his own (Dyche style) with no hope of ever playing.

No way sell Fabbrini unless it's for big bucks.

They can have Dyer in exchange for an empty packet of Wotsits.

I'd prefer to keep Fabbrini for another season, but a loan deal would probably suit both parties.

If it's true that they want both of them, it puts us in a fairly strong position if we wanted to sign Demarai Gray.

    Sell both for £1m.

£1m each? Or £1m for the pair? If it's £1m for the pair then Dowling needs sacking. If it's £1m for Lloyd Dyer, he needs a knighthood.

That's what I'd take for the pair. Dyer free transfer or close to it, Fabbrini nearer £1m. Just personal opinion.

I think it is optomistic to expect a fee for Dyer. Birmingham probably happy to match his Watford contract if no fee involved. Fabbrini, i think will be a small fee, with a decent sell on clause. Frankly i can not see him getting into our team unless he makes a stellar step in effectiveness.

What do you realistically expect for a player who has failed to have any impact on our side, and done virtually nothing of note for about 4 seasons?

There's definitely a good player in there somewhere but he's never going to make it at Watford IMO so why keep him? Maybe he'll be off to Granada, that could suit his style of play.

Why? Dyer is a wage to get rid of only. Fabbrini has failed to impress in two seasons now. I'm sure we could tie some clauses in as well but I'd say much over £1m cash is a fine deal.

Presumably Dyer is on a minimum of 10k a week. Getting rid now would save us £1m. Charge em 500k-750k and be done with it. As others have said, would be happy to loan Fabbrini out or a hefty sell on clause (20%)

I'm talking about Dyer. Half the Championship wanted him m8

    Thought Brum were potless?

Great to see the back of Dyer, There is a great player in Fabbrini begging to get out, but he has had so many chances, could he be a player better in the Premier League than Championship?

    Dyer free.

    Fab £500k + 50% sell on fee.

That is about the size of it - with £1m liability on Dyer if we do nowt - we will not get a fee and i suspect we will pay him off from the Fabb fee

Alternatively the could sell us Demari Gray??

If he can't do anything at least half decent in the Championship then he DEFINITELY won't in the Prem.

I can understand that argument in regards to Fessi because he does turn in MOTM performances sometimes.

But Fabbrini has no chance of being an EPL player, some of you just can't accept that he's pretty sh*t.

This is harsh on the Wotsits packet I believe. You can always fold it into a neat little triangle for your pets to play with.

Perhaps the coaching staff could try this with Lloyd?

Shame about Fabs, someone said there's a good player in there.I agree but his opportunities would seem to be as slim as he is !

Would like to see Fabbrini make it but I'm not sure he will. Would take £1m - £1.5m for him and 250k or so for the delightful Mr Dyer.

I really don't care what (if anything) we get for Dyer. Just get rid.

Like we need to quibble over a few k. Let's just cut our losses and laugh at the poor sods who take him on next.

Didn't he get 4 MOTM awards for Millwall in 4 games or something? And he has obviously impressed at Birmingham too.

Never had a chance at Watford due to the fact we have always had fantastic attackers at the club since he arrived here.

He is very, very impressive. Not actually useful for anything but he is impressive.

When was it he got a solid run of games like he got at Millwall and Birmingham (although I think he was injured a bit at Birmingham)?

Not saying we should keep him, just saying he has had a good season.
