Best cartoon for me on tv was the Flintstones - the original series were absolutely fantastic, original and very clever. Best movie The Jumgle Book - original How much does Fred Flintstone remind you of Jobr - a reincarnation maybe?
dangermouse, recess, postman pat, and fireman sam. more recently simsons is quality, family guy is good also.A Simpsons film is to be realised soon i think.
Couldn't pick a favourite but i'm suprised Pingu hasn't been mentioned. Going onto comic strips, the original Garfield stuff was hilarious.
Being a young child in the 1980's, thundercats, the racoons and superted were my favs on TV. i am not a fan of the modern computer annimated films, so i would go for Roger Rabbit, even though it was live acton as well.
anyone remember lost cities of gold? I liked gummi bears. I love the disney movies, the little mermaid and finding nemo are the best
Tom & Jerry by a country mile for me. Film? Difficult choice, but the Wallace and Grommit movies and all those by the same studio I could watch all day and still laugh.
Just heard that Joe Barbara the man who created Top Cat, Tom and Jerry, Flintstones and the Jetstones has died today, he was 95. RIP.
He brought me such joy as a kid. I never knew Hanna-Barbara were two surnames of two different people. RIP Joe Barbara.
I forgot to say Mr Magoo is my third favouriite cartoon. He reminds me a bit of Jobr but jobby's not so blind as Magoo, though he can be blind drunk.
