i really think so. I think he just maybe needs a bit more confidence and the experience will give him that.
seconded, I didn't see him against portsmouth but all the other games he's played I think he's done well.
It says he'll only be out for TWO WEEKS! Happy days! Plus Bouazza is set to make a swift return and Powell has refuted claims he's set to re-join charlton in the backroom team! All courtesy of skysports.com
Can't believe our luck, it's as if there's a scummer up there !!! However GL to Rich .... he deserves the chance .....
From the Man Ure site today: On-loan United keeper Ben Foster hopes to make his return from knee surgery for Watford in the next 10 days. The 23-year-old stopper has been in outstanding form for the Hornets in his second successive season on loan at Vicarage Road. A troublesome knee injury saw Foster withdrawn at half-time of Watford's defeat at Portsmouth on November 18, but he is now back in training after a successful operation. "The knee is much better," he told Kenilworth Today. "I had surgery three-and-a-half weeks ago, so I've managed to restart training this week. "I'm hoping to be back for the game with Liverpool next week but Arsenal on Boxing Day might be a more realistic target." Foster made no attempt to hide his frustration at having an enforced six-week break from his first season of Premiership football. "It's been massively frustrating having to sit it out. After all, I'm a footballer and playing football is my job so I've been fed up," he said. "I've still had plenty to do to make sure I get back as soon as possible. I've been at the training ground having treatment most days and having ice packs on the knee. I've also been doing all I can to keep fit."
When I asked him Saturday night he said he would resume training with US today. He was hopeful about the Liverpool game but admitted it may come to soon and arsenal was a more realistic target. As soon as he is fit I have every confidence in that he plays.
We shouldn't rush him back - Lee has done very well recently and we can afford to stick with him for the time being.
I would imagine Sir Alex has put a clause in the loan deal making us play him as soon as he's fit, which would be a joint decision made by the Watford and Man U medical staff.
