21 year old American fullback from AS Roma, not the Hollywood actor of Deadpool fame. Though we do have quite a large pool of dead wood already within the squad.

Spent last season on loan in Belgium's pro league with Westerlo. While its not a shock we're being linked to someone from Belgium again, it appears that Bayat isnt his agent.

Apparently our usual transfer rivals Swansea, West Ham and along with Feyenood are all keeping tabs on the player.

More than likely rubbish in all fairness but it's a story thats been mentioned in a few places since the start of April.

You can never have too many right backs.

He’s not a bad player but can’t really see him fitting the style. Thing he’s more of a luxury player. Also RB is probably our lowest priority position this summer.

Can't see it happening. We have four on the books now. Money needs to be used primarily in needed positions.

Is it? All of our right backs are a wonderful mixture of garbage and injury prone other than Andrews, who is still incredibly young and raw.

That's precisely why it WILL happen. We dont recruit for what we need. Will probably buy him for an exaggerated fee and never see again

I believe you're wrong but we'll wait and see.
Me personally I believe it's the last position we need to recruit in, especially with the promising displays from Andrews.

Lazy report. We were previously interested however are now well equipped in that area.

Well equipped with an injury prone, extremely average Ngakia, an injury prone, ancient Gaspar, an injury prone, unproven Ferreira and a kid in Andrews.

Our fans are as deluded about the quality and suitability of our squad as our owner is.

Fair point but at least we have some right backs. There are probably other positions like left full back where we just don't have cover at all. I would be surprised if we signed a right back this summer

Wouldn't say I'm 'happy' with the depth of our options at RB (Ferreira might be good but is injury prone, the other two aren't going to work), but I like Andrews and I want to see more of him, which is more than I can say for a lot of the squad tbf! In any case, I don't think we'll do any business there until we do sell one or two of the 4 first team options we already have

But on the balance of it. It is an area where we have more depth than other positions. I think most Watford fans want to see Ryan Andrews progress and start as he seems to have plenty of potential. You aren’t wrong about players being injury prone and Gaspar being too old but if we have to prioritise signings I wouldn’t have right back highest on the list.

Maybe not the highest priority, no, but certainly not "well" equipped. Inadequately equipped would be more accurate.

Oh come on now guys, we all know Gozzers was our best RB last season, But I do somewhat agree with Nath. Andrews has looked decent in the end of season games he played in, but has he got a full season in him? I hope so, but he would need to be rotated now and then. Gaspar is alright but only in small doses, Ngakia (when he did play) wasn't very good, but that could be due to lack of games and fitness and Ferreira is still hasn't blown anyone away due to his injury. Out of the four, I would say rotate Andrews with Ferreira but again it comes down to injuries and do we have the space/personel.

I like Andrews and would like to see him given the opportunity and buying another right back would hinder that chance. If we can have him and Ferreira and even Gaspar as back up then that would be fine. Ngakia is pony

Pretty much agree with this, wouldn't mind Andrews and Ferreira battling it out for first choice (would imagine Andrews playing more games as he doesn't seem to be made of glass), and Gaspar plugging gaps across the pitch in case of emergencies. We've properly messed up with Ngakia, I'm sure he can have a half-decent career somewhere else though
