As much as it'd be nice to see Ashley in Watford colours again the logical part of my brain says he is just over a week off being 37 and therefore shouldn't even be a consideration. It's a no from me.

 

He may be about 40 but does he count as HG ? Rule of 11 and all that ?

 

He had his chance last year, no interest at this point

 

If I had a pound for every Ashley Young rumour thread on WFC Forums over the years I’d have, er, 7 or 8 quid.

Can we wheel him on as a specialist kicker like they do in American Football? Would be nice to see us score a free kick or two

 

Even though he keeps spurning us, he would be quality in the Champo even at 37. Would hopefully offer some much needed leadership too.

I'd have him back, would definitely have some part to play.
