There’s my 0-0 HT by pure, blind luck. Onto a second half with a couple of goals on the break...

Friend is atrocious, can definitely see a red for us today. The Arsenal players are pathetic.

0-0 at half time with a back 5 that cost £0 and only 1 player that cost more than £4m feels like a victory.

As poor a refereeing performance you would see. Got so much wrong and very clear ‘big team /home team’ bias.
The depressing thing is that I am no longer surprised.
We look organised and have shape/plan. Promising.

Ah well - was Sarr fouled or just too soft?

Wasn't that goal scored from Arsenal playing on when we had kicked it out for an injury?

Except he's 'forgotten' to book Rose at least twice...but he made up for it by deciding a fully-fledged body smash into Sarr on the edge of our box was not a foul.

There was no reason for us to do so as Tufan was already getting up...

But Rose was running with the ball and had his back to Tufan who was at the other end of the pitch.

An absolute snooze fest for 75 minutes or so but under a different manager we probably lose 3-4/0.

King should’ve scored. Was pretty poor today.

    N’kolou looks an upgrade.

    Sarr’s head is somewhere else.

Have to admire Sissoko’s work rate and determination.

Tufan must be Turkish Man United Pogba and not the France national team one cos he was awful.

    Kucka is a bit nuts.

    Rose wasn’t great.

    Ref was ****.

Football is just miserable and boring right now.

Typical - looked half decent in defence and not a bad effort but lacked any real quality and lose to a deflected goal which might have been a foul in the build up.

    Arsenal classless.

I don't normally get involved in ref bashing but that performance by Friend was atrocious.

Not sure if he was intentionally biased or just incompetent but every time an Arsenal player went down a foul was given. And it was inevitable we would see a red.

I thought we battled well despite being up against 12 men tbh.

I’m usually loath to criticise refs - but Kevin Friend had an absolute stinker today.

Deserved a draw. Nkoulou MOTM. Outstanding class. Cannot wait to see him with Sierralta.

How can you get anything out of these games when the referee is up the bumhole of Woolwich ? Utterly useless turd. Shameful performance. Free kick after free kick for the least contact. A non existent red card. A goal allowed despite an obvious foul. And as for the Woolwich scum real sportsmanship not to return the ball.

PS Alan Smith is a massive ***** as well. Dreary boring drone of a player. Dreary boring drone of a commentator. Anusol won't win anything this season indeed nothing for years. The deluded morons will be after Kroenke soon enough and that Arteta ***** will be out on his ear too. It will be fun watching the deluded morons on their trashy TV station where they display all the intellect of an amoeba. Utterly scummy club, fans and players.

Effort was really good. Yeah we got lucky but it’s away at Arsenal in good form so overall I’m happy with that (apart from the obvious feeling you get when you lose!)

Poor from Arsenal not to give us back the ball.

I’m really not a fan of Rose, he’s woeful when players attack him and for me he is half hearted in chasing back. Also the only player not congratulating Foster on the penalty save when it was his poor challenge that gave it away.

Refs in this country are paid to help the big clubs. That is an absolute fact. It's a clear directive. **** over the little clubs and give the "big boys" everything.

    ******* ****, rigged league.

Cheated out of a decent point, wonder how much Kronke paid that cvnt ref. Arsenal fans saying "who" when our subs came on and singing "by far the greatest team" are some seriously delusional pr1cks too, you are beating a relegation fodder team one-nil at home you ret@rds. Dirty, cheating Arsenal helped by a paid for ref.

We were robbed and the ref was a ****

Kucka is a hard ******* thought he was good today did t shy away from any attack and was instrumental in us striving forward, didnt deserve the red

    foster did what he could

I don’t think we were awful, but they were a lot better however in the last 20 mins I thought we would get one back

think the subs were good, nice to see fletcher coming on for Cathcart

He didn't get up until the ball was out. Arsenal are a disgrace, there's no point defending it.

It seemed only a matter of time before Arsenal scored, but we generally defended pretty well. The manner of the goal was a kick in the teeth, Ar5enal scum surely should have given the ball back. It was a clear body-check and foul on Sarr as well.

Yet another game where we lose only by 1-0 and with a chance to still somehow nick a point at the end.

    Nkoulou seemed good.

I never really felt we would get anything from the game, but another very narrow defeat in such a niggly fashion is irritating.

Firstly - an atrocious, diabolical refereeing performance - get him up in front of the standards committee alongside Boris and send them both to hell.

It's tough because there was an improvement there today - we are again more organised defensively and we have a shape now. But we also have no creativity and our midfield is still failing to link with the attack.

It's not his fault (again, as ever; the demanded caveat) but I don't see how you can possibly be making the argument that Sarr isn't disappointing and playing well, well below his potential this season at this point - I also don't see how you can really make an argument for him starting the next game.

Individually we still have a lot of players making stupid decisions - Kucka obviously chief among them, ruining what was one of his better performances, and King when it came to shooting at that open goal, to note two.

If that was one of the kinder games in this run of fixtures, I'm a bit scared. That all being said - if the continued improvement in organisation goes on, we might actually have a chance of having a gameplan that outcoaches Ole when it comes to Old Trafford; just maybe.

No 'might' about it....it was a foul & in the context of the other cards brandished by the 'ref' (and he's always totally 5h1te no matter what game I've seen him ref, not just ours), it should have been a yellow.

On the face of it, that wasn't our worst performance of the season: certainly more competent than Leeds, Wolves, Southampton, Liverpool, Newcastle or Brighton, but still, very little to be encouraged about.

Positives: Foster did very well, Nkoulou looks a step up on WTE and Sissoko was decent. I'm also not negative about Kucka for getting sent off. I loved his challenge and I didn't think it was worthy of a second yellow. I want more, not less of that sort of commitment.

Arsenal didn't look amazing, but were very, very comfortable all afternoon. Rose was poor, Tufan did nothing, King was poor, Pedro came and was anonymous and Sarr continues to be offensively half arsed about everything. I cannot abide seeing him trotting around, wafting his foot at the odd ball, with zero intent. Drop him FFS.

Defence was, I suppose, marginally less **** than it has been, but we still gave Arsenal enough chances that they should really have scored 4.

Up front we contrived to offer virtually nothing. The one real opening was when their keeper was caught in no man's land, but King made a really poor attempt at getting it in from a tight angle, whilst Sarr didn't get himself to the edge of the 8 yard box where he should've been.

Overall, a defeat was what most expected and I suppose a 1-0 will seem good to some people, after all, what right have we got to expect to be getting anything out of the likes of the mighty North London Arsenals?

Ref was awful. Really bipolar in terms of giving every soft foul against us, but very little for us, though I suppose the big decisions of the disallowed goals went in our favour, but I can't see how he or the VAR assistant could have done anything else.

Overall, whilst it was a more organised performance than the stuff under Xisco, we still look devoid of quality in key areas and the decline of Sarr is terminal. We cannot afford to have him out on the right, going through the motions. It's no coincidence to me, that our brightest 15 minutes this season came when he was hauled off against Everton.
