Does anyone think spring will be given another chance sometime soon, or can you see him leaving some time this month? I personally would like to see him given one more go ahead of Bangura and Francis, if he doesn't perform, give the new lad Williamson his chance...

williamson will be ahead of spring now. you've done bit for us matty, now pack your stuff, your not enough up here i'm afraid.

would like to see francis and spring go to generate some transfer money but i doubt aidy will be selling, especially 2 midfield players.

spring will stay just in case we go down next year and francis decides to move on as frankly he doesnt seem to have the desire to play in a relegation battle/lower league so frankly he can pee right off as far as im concerned

My mate who is the Norwich supporter was glad they got rid of Francis because they found out, as you say, he is not a fighter.

This season has shown that Spring is not up to playing at this level, however his performances during last season were sometimes matchwinning for us.

Francis is less than spectacular this season, and I wouldn't be suprised if we see him leave before Spring.

From comments made by Aidy yesterday it did seem Spring on not going to get a chance this season so the player himself will probably want to leave at least on loan anyway?

Spring not being in the squad yesterday should tell you everything.

newell is interested at around the £300k mark.

I would've thought Springy would be worth more than that myself, closer to the 5-600k mark.

If only you were right Dan. I think £300k is not unreasonable - about the same price as the Rotherham lad,Wiilliamson.

I think 500k at least due to his experience, and as we saw last season, his eye for goal (in the championship - 9 goals is a good return for a midfielder).

I'd see if we could push them a little bit higher than that personally.

Was watching the dvd of last season and spring was really good he scored goals get stuck in and i thought he was a good partner with mahon in midfield. But i agree with u lot i cant see him getting a chance again with bangura performing the way he is for a 18-year-old.

If true he's probably a little unlucky - he's hardly had a run in the team. Perhaps he hasn't shown the attitude off the pitch, though I've no reason to presume that.

I wouldn't want to face him, esp for $%^&*. you can see the inevitable result.

Spring is a good player and he's struggled this season when played because he's been out of posistion or were not playing a game that suits him. He was fantastic for us last season , I hope he stays and gets his chance

so far him and francis have not looked good. as it was said on on bsad a while ago this may be due to the prem teams managing to mark our attacking mc out the game,.
we tend not to play through the centre much and if williamson isnt a hit, i feel we need to find a way to change our gameplan a bit to encoporate them more - otherwise we're playing with 10 men for some times in a game

Neither had Bangura at the start of the season and then he took the opportunity given to him, and Spring didn't.

I'd be sad to see Spring leave, maybe we should loan him out until the end of the season until we know wether we are still in this league or not, if we stay up let him go, if we go down he way well become a big player for us again...
